Really enjoyed the Villa Morgagni, as it was clean, safe, and comfortable. It was located in a mostly residential part of Rome, thus allowing us to walk and dine among Romans instead of tourists. A Metro station is extremely close to the hotel, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and would return.

stayed 3 nights in November 2014. Great value as used Avios points. Good choice at breakfast but not much else around the hotel. Good resturants about 20 minute walk back towards the central station. Small bar with very reasonable prices. Used Ryan air coach service from the airport to Central station 8 euros return, great value. Got 2 day hop... More

It's a little far from the most visited places in Rome but there is a metro station across the street so it made going everywhere very easy. The staff is very helpful with nearby restaurant recommendations and help with maps, tickets for the metro and we found them very friendly. The free breakfast buffet is good and can save time... Great staff. The room was a renovated with dated furnishings. The breakfast was excellent, I strongly encourage guests to make it on time for the complimentary breakfast. The lady at reception desk has a connection for tickets to attend the Pope's audience if your wish...unfortunately my wife and I became aware too late. The hotel is located close to train... More

This hotel seemed absolutely perfect when we first arrived. The staff were friendly, and the room was fabulous. They reception staff were also very helpful when we asked about lunch on a Sunday (since many places are closed), they directed us to a restaurant which they knew was open, and which was lovely. Unfortunately on the first night we discovered... More

I use to go to Villa Morgagni every time I have to go to Rome. They are very nice, good price to be in Rome, easy to reach from Railway Stations. The rooms are clean, quiet and some of them have a balcony.

we stayed for six nights and had a great trip. The location was perfect being close to the subway but also super quiet. The hotel was fully booked which meant a chaotic breakfast service if you don't get there )super) early. Understaffing levels meant the tables were not cleared which caused wasps to arrive. However, we food the bacon and... More

This Villa was off the beaten path a bit. Very quiet. The bus line stopped near by. A 'snack' shop/grocery store across the street was very handy. They referred us to a local restaurant we could walk to (called Joe Padilla's Restaurant) on our first day in town and the food/service were great! They even called ahead since it was... More

Slightly out of hustle and bustle in a quiet neighborhood. Great proximity to 2 metro stops- Europe and Rome as well as st lazare train station for day trip to Versailles. Small room but large bed for my 6'6 hubby. Plenty of room for suitcases including a closet area with open shelving which we used in lieu of bathroom counter... More

In the last two years, we have stayed at this hotel 2 times (mainly because of the area which is two metro stops from Termini). It is a 15 minute walk to Termini. Depending on when you go, there will be a lot of students as there is a University nearby. The hotel itself is very clean and has a... More
