It is a quite hotel, if you stay in the anex, bulding, rooms are small but clean, loacted very close to the Metro, and Raillway station. Groups and some clients are the reason for unspected noise, Nevertheless reception desk is are very friendly.

Originally we had booked the Espana hotel and were moved here on arrival due to the hotel having no room for us! Imagine our horror of not gaining the hotel we had planned.... YET... We were extremely fortunate to be moved here. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the Metro that we used frequently to get to all the... More

We visited as part of a group so cant comment on the cost. This hotel actually has two buildings, the second on the street behind which some of us stayed in. We stayed in a triple share room which was really small. Wasn't much space to put your bags etc. The single bed and bunks were quite narrow and short.... More

we went here in February 2015' was filled with students. Not a place for couples and families. Breakfast spread was very very small, room was really tiny as if it was built for elves! The doors shut at midnyt. Though the bathroom was okay. Staff tries to be helpful, poor guys. The worst part was that the wifi is paid... More

Not a bad hotel for a one night stay. Breakfast was ordinary but adequate. Staff were friendly. However, the shower screen in my room fell off as soon as i went to close it. The bunk bed was too high and the ladder provided was not very safe. Location is not bad.

This place is terrible. Dirty. Smelling. You have to call them to turn the air con on or off and they are very rude. We had the unfortunate experience of being received by Mr Prijo, the receptionist. He is very rude discourteous and has a bad attitude. The bed covers were faded torn and dirty. The rooms are also very... More

The staff is fantastic. They are helpful in providing tips. However, the hotel is not so clean. The shower door fell off. The flush of the toilet had to be reset after being flushed. There was no remote for the TV so I had to use Samsung's Watch On. WiFi in the hotel is not free and slow. The reception... More

The room was very good value for money. Breakfast was included, and although there was not a large variety of food, it was fine. The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful. It was a bit noisy some days if the window was open. Also aircon and wifi are chargeable separately, but we didn't use either of these. Good... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
