Hotel is located in a walking neighborhood. We had two good dinners in the area. While there the metro was on strike.Taxis was 25 euro a day to get back and forth. Wifi is free however you have to go to the desk for a new password each morning. One morning I asked for the password, asked to have the refrigerator fixed... More

Visited for 3 nights, and found the rooms very small... Too small... Apart from that, the hotel is within walking distance from the subway and from beautiful Villa Torlonia. Friendly staff, quality for money is correct ! And by the way, Rome is amazing!

Have just had a 4 night stay at the Mercure Piazza Bologna. Yes it is a little out of the way from the tourist area but I found this a plus. We did not want to spend a lot of money on accommodation, and found the hotel very comfortable with decent size room. The metro is less than a 5... More

The best thing about the hotel is the lication. So close to the piazza and the metro but not on them. Just around the corner. Some street noise but nothing on being in town. Staff extremely helpful, had an issue with the wifi and they worked to resolve it. Also the bar staff were incredible. Efficient and quick to respond... More

Mercure is a part of accor hotels group. We selected this hotel as we had very good experience at Mercure,Warsaw(Poland). Its location is pretty well. You have to walk around 5 mins to the nearest Piazza Bologna metro station.Roma termini is 10 minutes far and bus, metro are readily accesible from this location. There are many nearby good restaurants. We had... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing with us some comments about your stay at the Mercure Rome Piazza Bologna. As my colleague explain you at the reception we can switch on the A/C not too early during the year both for law and for the environment as the political of Accor is to reduce the environmental impact. Went to Rome with my elderly parents and my brothers for a family celebration. We chose this hotel based on the good TA -reviews and we're pleased with what we got. On the plus side, the hotel is well kept, clean and quiet, the breakfast is OK but a little pricey. Extra plus points for gluten free options. On the... More

We visited Rome for 3 nights and opted for this hotel. It's not in the centre of Rome but the centre is readily accessible by a 10-15min metro ride with the metro station only a few minutes walk away. We like the hotel because it was in a quieter area and not touristy, this is reflected in the cafe's and... More
