The hotel is new... the front desk staff are really nice and polite. There are things that could be changed. Breakfast could be much better for the price. There are 2 hot items and they are not well prepared. I stayed on a privilege room (516) with a great balcony, but the curtains did not close completely. The shower is... More

Although this hotel is in the suburbs, the area is fine, and the hotel is only five minutes' walk from the Metro. (Get clear directions how to reach from the Metro though, as it's not obvious which exit to use.) From the Metro, it's only a short ride to the Colosseum stop. Please be aware though that the Rome metro... More

Excellent location 3 mns from the metro, very quiet and safe. We walked around at nights after a lovely dinner at "il tunnel" restaurant ( recommended by the receptionist and it was a very good advise: wonderful food lovely service) . Rooms are very clean and we slept like babies. Fridge and free wifi in rooms. I would like to... More

The location was key, was very close to the bus stop and metro station. The rooms were clean, the double room was too small for our liking but the triple room was big and roomy. The staff were rude and not keen to help. The breakfast was not a very big spread but nice. The lift was tiny, accommodating just... More

We have stayed for a sort break at the Mercure. It is very nice and cosy hotel and neighbourhood feels very safe. Rooms are clean and well appointed with free internet provided. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Just few minutes walk from the metro. It does deserve more than 3*.

Our stay at the hotel did not live up to our expectations (based on previous experience with Ibis Styles and Mercure). We arrived in Rome in the morning, so we went to the hotel to leave our luggage. The staff said that our room will be ready after 13:00, so we came back and checked in at 17:00. We were... More

This hotel is located only a few Km from the main attractions in Rome. And has an excellent cost benefit for Rome. You may have to take taxis, Subways or car to go around but it is easy to do it. We have stayed there 3 times and in one we had a problem with the A/C but they changed... More

We spent a weekend in Rome in Mercure Roma Piazza Bologna. Hotel offers average services but corresponds to the rating of ***stars hotel, overall good but not so nice neighborhood. who don't seek luxury accommodation I can recommend it. Advantage is that the metro station Bologna is very close to hotel and Termini station is about 10 minutes.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Staff was very helpful and speaking more than 5 languages. Will take the extra mile to please their guests. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food is ok but missing halal cuisine. Locations is a bit far from Rome centre especially with public transportation. Can wait for quite some time for a bus. However the hotel... More
