I booked there since July and checked in on December. When I checked in, the hotel manager told me I can only use my room 1 night after that I have to move to another room. I tried to negotiate but worthless. Finally I had to move to the room with no TV, no wifi signal total hotel, no toilet's... More

It was not about the room. That was nice. Not great but nice. It was about the behaviour of the owners/manager. 1.Two days before our trip, we were informed by booking.com that our last day's booking in the hotel was canceled because the hotel would be closed. This is a lie! It is not going to be closed. I checked... More

Worst hotel I have been ever. I was left speachless when I saw the room . The receptionist did not speak english at all. The smell of the room was funny. In addition , you were not able to use any of the room's equipment cause Nothing worked properly .They did not change towels once ,even when we asked for... More

This hotel made a withdrawal from my card twice! And they did it before Christams when I need my money. Be aware of FRAUD!!! They are 100% BASTARDS! Don't stay here! Be smart, please. I don't know how to return my money.

I booked 2 different stays in same time, because I did not know this hotel is so bad. First time I had a room. In the bathroom smelt some fresh paint and no door on the shower cabin so when I took a shower everything was full water. The heating was not enough and the air condition did not work... More

The place is awfull. Our room was at 3rd floor. There wsa no elevator so we had to carry our heavy bags. The room was disgusting. The walls had damamges from the moisture and you could clearly see the mote. The beds were not comfortable and there werent enough for all our equipment ,not even for the mini fridge. They... More

We stayed here for 1 night and wished we had more time. The hostess was so helpful and cheerful (and beautiful), we were welcomed very warmly. The hotel is tucked away in the Asian area of Rome right near the Train station, which we needed. It is a small but well managed property, clean and comfortable with a breakfast brought... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
