We booked this hotel according to Lonely Planet recommendation and also Tripadvisor reviews, some of which were of quite mixed opinions. Fortunately we couldn't find a fault with this charming hotel, everything went smoothly. We checked in one of the upper floor rooms which were a bit on the small side, but we weren't spending much time in them anyway.... More

Hotel Mozart is a decent property to stay in in the heart of Rome. Located on a High Street, it’s a busy place filled with tourists, with many important sights nearby. Spagna metro station is the closest, just five minutes away. Rooms are decent sized, ok for two people and some luggage. The bathroom in our room was big but... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
