Residenza Antica Roma was recommended to us and booked by our travel agent. When we arrived from Roma Termini, our taxi driver drove us straight to the hotel, and it was only about a 10 minute drive. We noticed that it was on a bustling, busy street, close to the Barberini Metro Line A station, several bus stops, and within... More

Very friendly staff. Very helpful as well. Rooms were good size and clean. Great location for walking to many attractions and restaurants. Quiet even though located on somewhat busy street. Highly recommend. Would stay there again.

We had a quad room (two parents and two grown children) for three nights. Room was fairly small, per norm, and very clean. The staff was very accommodating, and we truly enjoyed the stay. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, which is very close to Via Veneto, Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain (which is currently under renovation).... More

Great little hotel, in a fabulous location, closing to everything. We had a fabulous room with silk on the walls. The windows had double glazing so it was pretty quiet even though we overlooked the main street. The breakfast was very nice with everything you could want. The staff was friendly and were able to book a shuttle to the... More

I stayed at the hotel in September of 2013 and enjoyed the stay very much especially when I had a medical issue and needed to return to the States. The room wasn't large but it was comfortable, room service was good and the breakfast was very diversified satisfying both the European and American pallet. The front desk was ready to... More

The location of the hotel was great. It is a short walk to many good restaurants and to the Trevi fountain, which we walked to every night to unwind. It is also close to a metro station and taxi rank. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast is decent, typical European fare. The hotel is clean, but we... More

We spent 7 days in this hotel and we booked it through recommendations of a couple of friends and after reading the reviews on the tripadvisor. We booked two rooms, one for us and another for our friends. We were given Rm22 and Rm23 and these are interconnected with a private terrace. The rooms are small but quite comfortable. The hotel... This is a very decent 3 star hotel but I have given it 4 stars because of its location - 300yds from the Trevi Fountain, about 100yds from the metro station which itself is only 4 stops in one direction to the Colosseum and 4 in the other direction to the Vatican and only 2 stops to Termini which is... We stayed at antica for a few nights on the occasion to come to Rome of my mums birthday, what we found was a lovely characterful well maintained small hotel with great reception staff ideally located close to the trevi fountains. The only fault would be the absence of a restaurant or bar though there is a great breakfast buffet... More

Stayed for 5 days in October 2013. Great location - centrally located, walking distance to a lot of sightseeing. Rooms are relatively big for the center of Rome; especially given the price that included breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff - Nella, Enzo, Paulo, etc.
