This is a very decent 3 star hotel but I have given it 4 stars because of its location - 300yds from the Trevi Fountain, about 100yds from the metro station which itself is only 4 stops in one direction to the Colosseum and 4 in the other direction to the Vatican and only 2 stops to Termini which is... We stayed at antica for a few nights on the occasion to come to Rome of my mums birthday, what we found was a lovely characterful well maintained small hotel with great reception staff ideally located close to the trevi fountains. The only fault would be the absence of a restaurant or bar though there is a great breakfast buffet... More

Stayed for 5 days in October 2013. Great location - centrally located, walking distance to a lot of sightseeing. Rooms are relatively big for the center of Rome; especially given the price that included breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff - Nella, Enzo, Paulo, etc.

The hotel was easy to access from Barberini metro station, just a short walk down Via del Tritone. We were welcomed by a very helpful, Enzo, who went out of his way to ensure that all was in order. Our room was very comfortable with a delightful little private outdoor sitting area. Bathroom was more than adequate, the shower typical... More

After a perfect Med Cruise on Princess we chose to add three days in Rome. The AAA agent told us this was her favorite hotel in the city center. It is. Rooms in Europe are frequently small and this one is too. That said it is more than comfortable for two adults and short stay. The shower is a bit... More

Firstly commendations must be given to house keeper Nella who looks after the guests so so well. Breakfast is very nice and there are a lot of lovely fresh pastries! Even though there is an automatic coffee and juice machine Nella would always offer to make fresh espresso. Our standard room was nice and moderately spacey. Cars and horns were... More

I booked this hotel in May '13 for a Nov'13 3 day pre-cruise stay. 2 days before leaving for Rome I received a phone call that the hotel was overbooked and as a result our reservation was not going to be honored. I got a great rate and paid in full in May. I'm sure they accepted reservations for the... More

We stayed here with our 2 x teens and had a room on the top (5th) floor that had 2 x beds rooms that were comfortable and very quiet considering the dining room was directly outside. We had a small balcony outside that we enjoyed having a great wine, cheese & bread we bought from a deli near Trevi fountain... More

Our family stayed here initially in a quad room, which was pretty cramped but economical and quiet. On our return to Rome a few weeks later we were in the roomy 2 bed-room suite on the top floor with a balcony overlooking Via Tritone. This was great for an al fresco lunch. Anyway the location is terrific. Vittali and Paulo... More

We stayed on the last 2 days of our trip/cruise. It is an excellent location though modest hotel. I would stay hereon aanother trip back to Rome. It is located about 2 blocks from Treviso Fountain and access to restaurants. They had a basic breakfast all mostly rolls and pastries. The room was very large and the bath was fine... More
