I have just returned from a 3 day break in Rome based at the Marc Aurelio. I had read some of the reviews before I arrived and was a bit apprehensive but I need not have worried. The accommodation in all 3 rooms was first class, the continental breakfast was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful - I think... More

Stayed for 6 nights April 2014 and had a lovely time. Hotel was very clean, rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast enjoyable, a good selection. Hotel staff were outstandingly helpful, nothing was too much trouble, information, suggestions, accommodating our needs. Gregory's cafe across the road and a newsagent, just a short walk to a fantastic ice cream parlour and patisserie which... More

Rooms are small and the air conditioning system looks very old. In the room there is also a mini bar with drinks (which comes in handy as of all the shops in the area are closed most of the time). You will get basic food for the breakfast. At night it was quiet. What i really liked was the relaxing... More

Spent 3 nights in this hotel. The hotel was good value for money. Clean, warm, adequate. Hard narrow beds but crisp white cotton sheets and nice soft pillows. Good continental breakfast but missed fresh fruit, also missed having tea, coffee facilities in room. The surrounding area is fine but would have preferred to be nearer to Rome Centre - it was... This hotel was part of a package offer from a UK newspaper through Holiday Gems. The hotel was all we expected for a 3 star Hotel (although the Hotel claims it is a 4 star) Rooms very 1970's but clean with acceptable facilities (shower over bath).Location is 20 minute bus ride from the Vatican(another 10 minutes to the centre of... We've just spent 3 nights at this hotel, and we're a little surprised at some of the adverse comments here. The rooms are quite large - the bathroom modern and fine. The only noise we heard was from a crowd of somewhat drunk Brits shouting down the corridor. The staff were friendly and courteous, made sure we knew where the... More

Stayed at this hotel with my friends and really enjoyed it. It is located at 10min from the subway station Cornelia, in a quite neighbourhood. The staff was really helpful and our rooms were cleaned every morning. The only thing that wasn't so good was the breakfast, wich was really poor. All in all, even if it isn't a 4... More

Not 4 stars hotel, but fair price. We had bad and breakfast. The room was clean (the sill was not so clean), the breakfast was good, but the coffee was terrible. Fair price, not 4 stars hotel. I recomand this hotel for a lower budget
