The hotel looks nice only from inside. When you enter you will see that the only good thing is the stuff. The administrator is always very nice! When I entered the room, whichwas on the third floor, I was shocked! Dark room pained in sort of violet color, NO WINDOWS, smelling bad, and the bathroom was so uncomfortably, that you... More

It's a cheap hotel near Termini station. It's in a little better area (Termini's immediate surrounding is quite terrible) The reception area was nice, the room was ok. The minibar was empty, but there were vending machines in the lobby. Bathroom was clean, but wear and tear was most visible there. No street noise coming through, but you can hear... More

this hotel was ok, i had 2 beds in my room, room was nice and bright, really comfortable bed! breakfast wasn't nice, they had cereals, tea, croissants, scrambled eggs( that you could hardly eat), ham and cheese. We had a group of forty, and while we were there we saw other large groups come and go. The hotel handled them deftly, though we did have to wait awhile for our rooms. That said, I would gladly stay here alone or with my family. The front desk was staffed 24/7 and very helpful. They printed out vouchers for... More

I bought this a few weeks ago and this was good decision. Hotel is near the train station Termini, five minutes to go by foot to metro and fifteen minutes to go by foot to Collosseum. Breakfest buffet - croissants, scrambled eggs, juice, tea, coffee but no fruits. The only bad was window in the room next to footway and... More

After booking this hotel I was very sceptical after reading the reviews. The rooms were clean, it was a very small hotel and had a lot of leaks in the corridors after it had rained. Some of the staff did not speak very good english but others were very helpful. All in all it was a cosy and comfortable room... More

well, it could be better, it's too far by foot from roma termini, my room was in the worst location possible, next to the common area, the hotel is used by the schools to visit the city, so the noise was to much late at night and early in the morning and the manegement didn't care, after a day of... Clean and good value. If walking from the station footpath is uneven and you have to walk through an area that feels unsafe. Breakfast is good, the usual Italian breakfast. Quite a walk to the station. Good points overall, but for singles a little unsafe.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
