You'll love this elegant hotel and location. We liked everything about our 2 night and later 3 additional night stay in Rome. In a Rome hotel for a mid August visit, we were looking for: a quiet unchaotic but walkable location, good showers and AC, wifi and a relaxing respite upon return from touring. We found all of that and... More

Had a great albeit quick stay at the Boscolo Exedra Roma. Got the room on miles, so I didn't expect much--it was well-furnished and quite comfortable--but what impressed us was arriving early in the morning (via train from Naples) and having the front desk staff be kind and welcoming despite the fact the room wasn't ready. We changed in the... More

We only stayed here for one night but the Boscolo properties in Rome (we stayed at the other location two years ago) create a first class experience. We had three rooms -each was unique in size and layout and beautifully appointed. I loved the fact that it was not cookie cutter. The hotel is in an excellent location, near the... More

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. We stayed in a large Panorama Room and the view of the fountain was wonderful. The restaurant was a little too fancy for our taste buds. We just wanted good old Italian food and while it was ok, it was pricey and didn't offer traditional pasta, meat, & seafood dishes. The lobby... More

My boyfriend and I have just spent the last three nights at Hotel Boscolo and it was fabulous. The hotel is a sanctuary of calmness and peace which is a complete contrast to the streets of Rome! We spent the days walking around and doing all of the touristy things but as soon as you walk back into the hotel... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in April. On arrival our room was not ready but it was just befor 12 o'clock, the receptionist could not have been more helpful . We were offered a drink while we waited in the excellent lobby.our room was in the popes granary? Which was fantastic, it had a sun terrace and timber rafters... More

This is a clear 5 star hotel. Excellent surroundings, experienced friendly staff; quality without compromise. It is ideally located for Roma Termini and has a beautiful aspect. The restaurant serves food of the highest quality and the breakfast is equally delicious.

I have actually only gone to dine and have drinks at this hotel, on the rooftop terrace. Passing through the lobby, I have to say that the decor was absolutely stunning and sumptuous. The view from the rooftop terrace is beautiful, and the service was lovely. Although in my opinion, the layout of the tables was one that did not... More

The rooms are very expensive, but very nice. They are a little small, but very well kept up. The hotel is beautiful and they have a nice breakfast, but it is very expensive at 25 euros per person. It is not centrally located as I thought, it costs 15 euros for a taxi ride to get to any of the... More

Beautiful hotel... My wife and I felt this was an exceptional property that was luxurious beyond our belief. The hotel staff, food and location were all perfect. Many of the sites were within walking distance of this this hotel. Shopping was literally around the corner for the gifts you might want to buy to take home.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
