In a year they have added free wireless but not much else. Lovely location for tourists, terrible service for business travelers. Internet does not work at times, passwords fail and have to walk to front desk again to get new numbers. Breakfast is expensive, you can get it prepaid for 20 Euro's but it is not a great breakfast and... More

When it comes to hotels, it really depends what you are looking for. We want modern amenities; clean, newer beds, great linens, and great views as well as the highest luxury possible that is affordable. The Exedra has all of these things. We have stayed at the "finest" in Italy, (Hassler, Gritti Palace, etc.) that did not meet these qualities... More

This hotel is a great place to enjoy the best Rome has to offer. It is close to the train station and the Metro. All of Rome is accessible from this location by foot. We were given a beautifully historical room at the back of the hotel with beams older than the heavens. A lovely balcony with a super quiet... More

We have just had a wonderful five night stay at this five star hotel. The hotel itself deserves it's 5 star status but the staff certainly deserve 6 stars. We found all the staff exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful and in fact they could not do enough for us and seemed to enjoy making our stay in Rome a memorable... More

Husband booked this for my 50th birthday as he wanted to spoil me.The hotel is well situated by the Termini. On arrival the greeting was adequate, we were then told that breakfast was not included but was available at 35 euros pp per night- we declined. We were then whisked through the hotel to be shown our room but on... More

I loved this hotel. Situated at the Piazza della Repubblica overlooking an architectural example of Michaelangelos and housed in a historic colonnaded building, this hotel exudes glamour. From the contemporary design of its bar and restaurant areas to the luxurious roof top pool area, we loved this hotel. The bedroom was perhaps a little small and ordinary - although every... More

Expensive hotel that doesn't live up to its supposed standards or the money paid for it! On the positive, friendly staff who are attentive and do their job well! The negatives, rooms are NOT 5 *...plug sockets falling out of walls, broken showers, broken telephones ( which, when reported, the hotel said they already knew about, and couldn't do anything... We stayed just 1 night in this smart and comfortable hotel. The room was cleaned and well furnished. The view from the window was actually poor. The location of the hotel is excellent and we could easily reach all the monuments we wanted to see. Good parking service. The pool on the top floor is not really a pool but seems... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Exedra and were very underwhelmed. The list of complaints is fairly long so in the interest of brevity let me just say that we are experienced Italy travelers and understand what most hotels here are like. We choose the Exedra based upon its location and it's five star rating. 1) our greeting... More

The hotel is beautiful and in a very good location (next to Termini Station). However, we experienced a couple of problems which made our experience not as good as we would have expected. First of all the air conditioning was not cooling down. We asked 4 times and still no one actually came to our room to fix it. At... More
