Nothing to fault. Nice breakfast included in tarrif. Friendly staff. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants and a nice stroll to the hop on hop off bus. Very thinly decorated room so you know you are in Rome.

We had a major problem with this hotel which if we had known about it ahead of time would have warned us off staying here. Both I and my travelling companion take medicines which are required to be kept cool. While this was not a problem while staying at the hotel, we needed to have freezer packs stored in a... More

Dear Sirs/Madame I have to admit that was very confused after reading such a false complaint about us. First of all this is a hotel not a hospital, if you suffer from something very serious you have to contact the hotel and inform the person in charge about your special needs (that are not normal needs) and maybe the hotel... Very comfortable and nicely decorated hotel on a quiet side street. We walked as far as the Collosseum and several other Rome "must sees". The street noise was minimal, but the walls are not well noise insulated. Breakfast was quite good and the staff was very helpful.

I have stayed here several times as a solo traveller and really appreciated the safety and security of this Hotel. The Hotel is spotless, the staff are great and remember you from your previous stay which makes one feel special, they are also very helpful in arranging early check-ins. The hotel serves a very good breakfast and you can set... More

Very comfortable hotel nice clean room with free wi-fi. They offered a number of options for breakfast with friendly staff. Hotel was walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shops and the main train station. We found a Harley Davidson shop just a 2 minute walk up from the hotel. Across the road there is a huge park with kids... More

We had spent 9 days in Principessa Isabella Hotel in Rome over the Easter period. Even tough, it is a little out of the centre it was a perfect location for us. The hotel is based 2 minutes away from the Burgesse Park and about 10 minutes’ walk from the Spanish Steps. The hotel itself is very clean and the... More

I don't think we would have considered a hotel of this caliber but as we were making plans for our Europe vacation I found a special rate, and after reviewing the pictures and comments we spent the extra money. We are so glad we did, everything about the hotel was fantastic. The entrance to the hotel is set back from... More

The Principessa Isabella hotel is situated in a quiet part of Rome, very calm and secure. It offers a full service such as cooked breakfast and is situated near the "centro storico". The price-quality ratio is excellent.

Nice clean hotel in a good location. However wouldn't consider it 4 stars. Generally average service, in house breakfast stale and old. No glasses, tea or coffee in room. When requested wine glasses we were told guests were only allowed plastic cups. Maybe 3 stars self rated at best.

We are not difficult travellers to please but we still expect to get what we pay for and at this hotel we did not. Terrible value...bad service at reception.... Worse food... The rooms were small but clean and the location was not good enough to justify the bad service

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
