I've been here for 4 days while on a trip to Rome. Conveniently located at walking distance from via Veneto, the hotel is approximately 15 mins walk from Barberini Metro station and from the Spanish steps, and 20/25 mins walk from Termini train station. Although not fancy, the hotel was comfortable, very clean, with a free wifi connection (not superfast,... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. the room was beautiful, with high ceilings and some nice art in the room. The breakfast was pretty good. Mauro, at the front desk was extremely helpful and always gave us the best advise on where to go and how to get there. Excellent location, not far from anywhere, just a couple of blocks... More

The narrow entrance pathway surprisingly leads to a marbled foyer and a sincere welcome. The cordiality doesn't extend to a cuppa in the room, though. No ... downstairs again for that. And the porter who makes you a cup of boiling water will be sure to put it on your bill. I think the pricier hotels have this covered. The... More

We had a great 2 night stay, and everything, including the location, the breakfast, the room and the service were all very good. One problem. The morning we departed for FCO to fly home, and were within a half hour of boarding a plane, my wife realized she left her diamond engagement ring (from 51 years ago), in the room.... More

I arrived in Rome at midnight and took a taxi to the hotel where I had a booking...only to be told I didn't. After wandering around, someone at another hotel made a few calls...and I was sent to this one...which was just my luck as it was a serious upgrade (for less) than the other disaster. They were welcoming (ok,... More

We enjoyed our room during our 4 night stay. It was spacious enough for the two of us, with the bed area and an additional alcove where we stored our luggage. The shower was smallish but I find that a lot in hotels that I have stayed at. The pillows were also quite flat and two are definitely needed. The... More

I believe that not matter where you stay, if the service you receive is poor, your trip will take a downfall. Saying this, my family and I loved the service we received from this hotel. They were wonderful and had put my parent in a hotel room not far from that of my brother and I. Beautiful place with beautiful... More

We enjoyed this location because we walk everywhere when travelling and explore. If you aren't into walking far to the main tourist spots then this hotel isn't for you unless you dont' mind paying for taxis. The hotel was very clean and well kept. We met one desk person that was hilarious and the others where nice. The breakfast area... More

This was a lovely hotel, we stayed 2 nights. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was great, room was clean, bed was comfortable (pillows weren't). Bathroom was fairly small (but you don't live in the bathroom). Some nice restaurants close by. It is a short walk to tourist spots but its not a difficult walk.

This hotel was lovely to stay at, first thing I noticed at this hotel was the air conditioning because my stay was during a hot month when we entered the hotel it was such a relief. Mauro at reception was so friendly and extremely helpful when my friends and I needed I for nation about the area. Would stay again

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
