We decided to stay at Albergo Ottocento because of the location and also on the recommendation of our daughters who had previously stayed at this hotel. The hotel is very close to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Villa Borghese and the beautiful via Veneto. Algergo Ottocento and is a beautiful upmarket hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast... More

Out experience at the Albergo was average. The room for three people was kind of small and the patio had no view as it was blocked. The female receptionist was kind of rude, and the restaurant was not good at all. Free wi-fi and free breakfast make this a 3-star and not a 2-star.

The staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The lobby is pretty and the fresh flowers was a elegant touch. There was a sitting area with newspapers in different languages to read if you might be waiting for someone. The room was clean and perfect for a single person, also would have been nice if I had been with my... More

Great hotel in a good location, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was enough to last you with your walking trip of Rome. Will definitely go back. Close to most attractions with quaint Italian shops within the vicinity.

We did not stay at the hotel but found the restaurant because a waiter was advertising their restaurant on the Main Street. Service and wait time at the restaurant was over an hour to get our entree. We paid for our wine and left. Management didn't seem too concerned with our complaints.

Located on a small side street near the Spanish Steps, the Albergo Ottocento is the perfect location for seeing the sights in Rome. It is also walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and even the Piazza Navona. Right around the corner is the Piazza Barberini and the metro. The hotel itself is small, elegant and cozy, with a... More

Excellently situated- 7 minutes walk from Trevi fountain, and 5 minutes walk from Spanish Steps; Friendly, polite and efficient front office, housekeeping and restaurant staff. Clean and well appointed rooms. Made our stay in Rome memorable. Only one thing missed: no tea/coffee making facility in room.
