The hotel location is great and is situated in walking distance to Metro station, Trevi Fountain, Parthenon, Spanish Steps, and many cafes and restaurants. Included every morning is a tasty buffet breakfast. The room was two level room which felt a bit small due to its configuration and the furniture was a bit dated. Overall, the room was comfortable and... More

Visited the Albergo Ottocentro last month with my family, it came highly recommended! The location was great - easy to walk around Rome, close to the Spanish Steps (15 mins), Coliseum (30 mins), and Vatican (45 mins), though a bit tricky for our taxi driver to find from the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the complementary breakfast... More

Easy walking distance from Barberini Metro stop, be it on ancient cobblestones that will put your rolling luggage through its paces. The hotel is centrally located and a five minutes’ walk from the Spanish steps or take the Metro to the Colosseum&Vatican etc. Reception area is a bit tacky in a veneer and marble mixture best left in the seventies.... Amazing location within walking distance from all the major attractions!!! Rooms are quite cramped but are kept clean. Did have funny smell coming from shower sink. But overall lovely hotel due to location and staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel for sightseeing locations around.

If you are looking for a clean, tidy and well located hotel in the city centre at a good price then look no further this hotel is just perfect. Rooms are a little small but very clean and the hotel has a very small but high quality feel to it. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent... More

The area, just next to Barberini, is fantastic, both for tourism, and if you're there on business: it's very close to the metro. Even though you are steps from Via Sistina and Barberini, the hotel is quiet as it is on a side street. One can probably find something better and fancier around but then it will be a lot... More

Boutique Hotel, situated in walking distance to Metro station, Trevi Fountain, Parthenon, Spanish Steps, and many cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was good, and their own Restaurant was excellent, noticed locals eating there Friday and Saturday nights. Found the staff very helpful and friendly, gave us good tips re: purchasing Tickets. Taxi to and from Airport arrived promptly. Bathroom very good,... More

Once upon a time this hotel was clearly a 5 star luxury venue. Time has passed and the once-new bedroom furniture and fixtures have remained. This hotel was used for business and not pleasure so it did the job. Although I would not regard my room as romantic and I would have certainly been disappointed had I taken my partner... More

A lovely boutique hotel within walking distance of all of Rome's historical sites. Reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Had dinner in the attached restaurant one night and the food was good and price was okay.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
