We had one day in Rome and Albergo Ottocento was the perfect place to base ourselves to see as many sights as possible on foot, in the short time we had. Room we had wasn't huge but not too small either, bathroom was good and overall an attractive hotel inside. Happy with our choice and would return.

I share the same view of the hotel as Sebas F ( July 2014 ), the female receptionist changes from an angel to something with a very sharp tongue very very quickly which actually spoiled our stay, when we asked to speak to the manager, obviously he was on holidays! Lots of nice restaurants and small hotels in the immediate... More

Very convenient location for this clean and friendly hotel in Central Rome, easy access by foot to major interest points, clean, and friendly reception. Nice decoration over the Christmas holidays, good advice for taxis and transport Nice breakfast

We decided to stay at Albergo Ottocento because of the location and also on the recommendation of our daughters who had previously stayed at this hotel. The hotel is very close to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Villa Borghese and the beautiful via Veneto. Algergo Ottocento and is a beautiful upmarket hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast... More

Out experience at the Albergo was average. The room for three people was kind of small and the patio had no view as it was blocked. The female receptionist was kind of rude, and the restaurant was not good at all. Free wi-fi and free breakfast make this a 3-star and not a 2-star.

The staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The lobby is pretty and the fresh flowers was a elegant touch. There was a sitting area with newspapers in different languages to read if you might be waiting for someone. The room was clean and perfect for a single person, also would have been nice if I had been with my... More

We only stayed at this hotel for one night and I'm not sure I would wanted to stay much longer. The staff were friendly and the breakfast OK. The room was nicely decorated but it was to noisy. We could hear people speaking and alarms on other persons phones in the morning. There were also raining that night so the... More

Great hotel in a good location, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was enough to last you with your walking trip of Rome. Will definitely go back. Close to most attractions with quaint Italian shops within the vicinity.

We did not stay at the hotel but found the restaurant because a waiter was advertising their restaurant on the Main Street. Service and wait time at the restaurant was over an hour to get our entree. We paid for our wine and left. Management didn't seem too concerned with our complaints.
