This was our first stay on a nine day trip to Rome and it was a great start. The hotel is conveniently located to Termini Station with buses, metro and trains. It was also easy walking distance (10-15 minutes) to many of the major attractions. The hotel itself was clean and had a great staff. The breakfast was adequate each... More

This Hotel is in the heart of Rome....be sure to visit the church down the street from this Hotel as it was built in the early Christian years and is beautiful inside. This hotel is clean, changes our towels daily and has a continental breakfast daily. The staff is extremely helpful and helped us with showing us some sights we... More

Just back from spending 4 days in this hotel and I thoroughly recommend it. The room is spacious and spotlessly clean. A safe is available in your room free of charge as well as a mini fridge which is so handy to have. Towels are changed every day. Free coffee and pastries all day long at reception. The only downside... More

Though just a 2-star hotel, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but filling. Snacks (croissants/coffee/tea) were free from 8:30am till 10pm daily, though barely avail of it except for the hot water as we were out all day and came back just after dinner. Hotel very near Termini train station, shops, and good restaurants. Hotel staff very... More

Spotless and comfortable room. Surprisingly quiet even with the very busy street directly below our room. Walking distance to transit system, shopping and lots of restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff.

The hotel is in an old building. And it seems each floor is a different hotel. It's on a third floor. And elevator is only big enough for two people without luggage and one person with luggage. The room has decent size and ceiling is very high. On the first day, the towels had a foul smell, and second day... More

This was my first time in Europe so I honestly didn't know what to expect. I read the decent reviews about this hotel on Trip advisor and thought it couldn't be that bad. My friend and I arrived via shuttle van from the airport to the hotel and my friend was immediately disappointed just from the outside. I was happy... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
