Don't expect a five star hotel, but it is fully equipped and very clean. We stayed there with 4 people (2 children and 2 adults) and were really happy to be there. First of all the staff was extremely friendly and Mr. Orlanda even speaks Polish! We were informed about all the possibilities and how to use the facility. The... More

We stayed 2 night. The breakfast has to be booked. The room is very small for all guests. It is a very good located hotel near the train station and the people are very nice. Breakfast is Ok no fruits. Yogurt, pastry, coffe, cold cuts.

The hotel have good and spacious clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel have also a distinct personality. I would like for sure to return. The only minus (not related actually to the hotel ) are the surroundings that were a little to crowd as it is close to the train station.

This is a perfectly reasonable hotel. Our rooms were, clean, comfortable with nice modern ensuite facilities at very reasonable cost. The hotel and surrounding areas very quiet. Breakfast was very adequate continental style. It was easy to find and is a five minute walk from Roma Termini Stazione. We would definitely recommend.

The Orlanda is so convenient, minutes from the Termini Station and the bus terminal. Nice rooms, very comfortable and an excellent, helpful staff. Whlle is rated as a two star hotel, one gets five star treatment here. Certainly will try to stay here again when next in Rome.

Hotel Orlanda is a fairly inexpensive and clean hotel 2 blocks from the Rome central train station and subway system. The rooms are functional and clean, nothing fancy but the location more than makes up for that. The hotel staff is extremely polite and helpful. We have stayed her twice and would stay here again.

Nice cozy hotel. Good location (a bit difficult to find though). Helpful and friendly staff answering every question about the city. Reasonable price. Would be great if the breakfast time window could be extended.

Hotel Orlanda is on the 3rd Fl & is one of a couple of hotels in the building. Very close to Rome Termini. Reception friendly and helpful. Room (313) clean & spacious; good storage/mirrors/wide bed/aircon. Modern fixtures in bathroom. Modest but good breakfast on 5th Fl. Some outside noise at night in a densely peopled area. Great value for money!

I have stayed at the Hotel Orlanda on two separate occasions and both times I have been graciously taken care of by the ownership and staff. Questions are answered promptly and tours are organized. The location is fabulous. A couple of blocks away from the main train station, you can easily get anywhere in the City and Italy and that... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
