Overall, this is a good budget hotel in a great location! We booked the quintuple room for our family of 5 and found it to be more than adequate. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room left over. The room faced the courtyard and we didn't experience any noise from the street. Breakfast was simple but very... More

The hotel is on the third floor and the lift is very small, rather old, and did not feel particularly safe, but it did keep working! Although travelling alone, I had a good sized double room. It was extremely hot in Rome while I was there, around 32 degrees and I needed air conditioning, which I had to pay for,... More

Nice frienfly & very helpfull staff (24 hours). For the biggest part of your trip you'll NOT find friendly romans. Anything you ask the'll try their best to acommodate your needs. This hotel is very quiet and safe, located super close to Termini Station. Pickpockets on that station will come to you to offer help every second on the ticket machine. After... More

Nice clean hotel very handy to Rome Termini. Clean comfortable room. Helpful staff. I had to checkout prior to commencement of breakfast service but concierge offered to arrange for something to be prepared earlier. Coffee and pastries available to guests during the day. All in all a good experience at a reasonable price. Good restaurants very close by and elevator... More

Great location, actually on the 3rd floor of the building, however there is a small lift which is fast and takes you just outside reception. The staff are very friendly, speak excellent amount of varied languages and are knowledgeable about the area. Very close to the centre of everything, handy for the station and very clean. Good value and I... More

This hotel was very good for its location. However, it wasn't the prettiest building ever. There were some very hefty stairs to go up every time and the elevator option was not very encouraging. Our shower also ran out of hot water quite fast in the morning - we had to try to get our showers in quickly before the... More

Superb. The staff went out of their way to help. Clean and tidy. Staff will make bookings for you and tell you how and where to reach destinations. The hotel is central to everything in Rome. Would recommend it.

This was our first stay on a nine day trip to Rome and it was a great start. The hotel is conveniently located to Termini Station with buses, metro and trains. It was also easy walking distance (10-15 minutes) to many of the major attractions. The hotel itself was clean and had a great staff. The breakfast was adequate each... More

This Hotel is in the heart of Rome....be sure to visit the church down the street from this Hotel as it was built in the early Christian years and is beautiful inside. This hotel is clean, changes our towels daily and has a continental breakfast daily. The staff is extremely helpful and helped us with showing us some sights we... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
