I have never been in a hotel like this before. That is not a complement. Some rooms may be nice but we did not get them. Rooms were scattered in different buildings. Of our party of three couples, one had a room around the corner (that looked a little more like the pictures) and the rest of us had a... More

Yep, hotel has good location, near to the Termini, Piazza Barberini, but reception looks like 60y old and receptionist have been very impolite. And room... worst accomodation have been horrible! Small room, tiny bathroom with tiny shower, water almost did not refresh you. You have to put the speacial key in to port on the wall for enable electricity. I... More

For the first time in my life I thought of cancel the reservation on arrival. It really is very bad. The reception works very bad in a very rude attitude, they asked for my id card and asked me to return in a hour time. When I disagreed, the receptionist was very rude and unpleasant. I stood in a room... More

The best thing about the hotel is my understanding that I need to research more and use another platforms apart from booking.com to find a proper accommodation. Worst experience ever! 1) Too small room 2) Too noisy (we were well informed about sexual and other activities of our neighbours) 3) Too poor beverage and tea cups/teapots on breakfast 4) NO... We stayed for 3 nights. The location is very good, 15 minutes from Tremini station, 15 minutes walk from Trevi. We had a room 5 minutes from the Hotel in an apartment house, basic room, air conditioning, clean bathroom and a small tv. No wifi, only in the hotel lobby. Good value if you use the room for resting only.

We stayed 4 nights. The first night we got an awful room without a window and a very bad smell (the room was newly furnished and renovated but impossible to breath in and no day light) the reception staff was rude when we asked to changed. The next morning, the staff at the reception was a very nice guy so... More

I just finished a tour with my family and booked, via cheaphotels.com, the hotel for 5 nights. I asked for a room with full bathroom and even visited hotel prior to arrival after tour and I was guaranteed my request. I got to the hotel and SURPRISE no toilet in the room only a shower and sink. The night desk person... More

A cosy central hotel. While it is very close to city center, at walking distance from most objectives, it is still far enough from the dreaded Termini proximity. The rooms are large and clean, the bathroom is quite small but still clean. The hotel shares some floors in an old building (like all buildings in central Rome). Some of the... More

I stayed in this hotel in January, 11-16. Hotel has very nice location - it is situated 15 min. from central train station and 25 min walking distance from Trevi fountain. My room was №107 in the building No. 95- just few meters away from a main building. It was quite fresh small clean non-smoking room with high ceiling. It... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
