I booked in Nerva Accomodation but eventually the room was within walking distance (200m) from the front desk, collaborating rooms (STELLA Accomodation ). After check-in the employee accompanied me to the room (floor room-old building with renovated rooms -About well) showed me that with one card opens the entrance of the building compartments-room, as well as the places were coffee... This was my first trip to Rome. The location of the hotel (next to metro station, close to Colosseum and in pretty Monti district) really made it for me. The noise from outside didn't bother me. I think the only annoying thing was the thin wall between front desk area and my room and that bothered me only daytime. The... More

Room was confortable, location was excellent and staff was very helpful and friendly. It is a bit noisy since is central and also you can hear the other rooms, but it is ok if you bring earplugs. Would definetly come back! Its worth the value.

Nerva Accomodation (not to be confused with a different, and more expensive, Nerva hotel in the city) is the best place to stay in Rome, in my opinion. They have two locations in the Monti neighborhood, the trendy and chic area of the city, just 5 minutes walk from Piazza Venezia. The rooms are big, renovated, very clean, with heating,... More

First off, the noise. I get it, it's central Rome, but I have never in my life stayed in a noisier place...and it comes from all directions! The street, the subway, the floor above, the hallway. ALL were noisy. And it's all day long. It's noisy when I wake up, noisy when I go to bed, and I came back... More

We stayed in a semi private entrance in the side, with only three units. Felt like staying in an apartment. The "view" was of a wall, not the ruins of the front of the building. The staff was friendly and spoke fine English of this is important to you. Monti if a good neighborhood for walking, with good bars and... More

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment (for 2 adults and 2 teenage daughters) with Nerva Accomodation based on the trip adviser reviews and photos. The apartment was ~300 meters away from the main building on Via Cavour. It consisted of 1 bedroom (with a very old rock-hard mattress), 1 small lounge room with a sofa bed that sagged in the... The room was very well located, on Cavour street, near the metro station and in a 15 minutes walk to Termini Station. The room was spacious, clean and with a nice view to Cavour street. The host was friendly and received us after the check-in hour with no problems. On the check-out day the host keep our baggage a few... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights, and we will definitely go back if we have the chance! Nice, helpful staff, great location! (a bit loud street, but we were outside in the evening, and.. it's Rome so there is nothing else you can expect) To sum up: In my humble opinion, I Highly recommend this accommodation!

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
