We weren't sure what to expect when our taxi pulled up to this place but once inside we discovered a true gem. We were warmly welcomed by the young man and woman at the registration desk, given a great tour of the place, shown all the amenities they offer and after we settled the young man even walked us to... My partner and I recently stayed at a Nerva Accomodation apartment on Via Cavour in Rome and it was great. After travelling from the Cinque Terra we were met at the apartment by Nadia from Nerva who gave us a quick rundown on things, made sure we were comfortable and then left us to settle in. The apartment was spacious,... More

Nerva accommodation deserves my best marks. Metro station Cavour is in front of main entrance and this is excellent in the late evening if you are alone in Rome. Location is super, rione Monti with a lot of small, charming streets, small coffee bar, shops, good restaurants (in Via Urbana) and just 5 minutes by walk to Collosseum, 5 minutes... More

The staff at this B&B are extremely kind and helpful. My girlfriend and I spent 5 days in Rome and the location could not have been better. Our room ended up being at the secondary location on Via Cavour, and while a "secondary location" sounds sketchy this was anything but. We enjoyed complementary usage of their espresso machine (espresso, cappuchino,... More

This hotel was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were friendly and welcoming and were able to help me with my inquiries. I was also given a free upgrade to a double room at no extra cost which was a thoughtful gesture and generated much good will. There was a well stocked communal kitchen across the corridor and... I stayed in Nerva with my husband over Easter, and we really enjoyed it. Before arriving we had requested a quiet room, and they responded us immediately and said that we had been assigned a room in their other building (3 min walk from the reception building, next to the metro). We had no problem finding the building (note that... More

The service here was lovely, the staff so sweet and not over rating my stay but I def will return to same hotel again soon. They made my time worth it, the rooms large and beautiful. The bathroom was classic. To cut this all short, it's a hotel well worth staying over in. Thank you Nerva for taking care of... More

Location is perfect! The neighborhood of Monti is in the city center, the roman forum, colosseum, and amazing restaurants are within walking minutes. Very comfortable bed, linens and towels. The bathroom and bedroom are incredibly clean and new (modern). WiFi works great! Coffee, tea and juice are available free in a shared space. I had no problem with noise. Price... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
