Cons: - No wifi in rooms. - Cash only for payment - Rude staff - Terrible breakfast Pros: - Great location The staff barely speaks English which isn’t that big of a deal except when he buzzed us in we didn’t hear/ understand him. We didn’t know the place had a lift so we lugged our 4 bags up the... More

Three years ago, I gave a negative review (A/C didn't work, refrigerator didn't work in the first room we stayed in. Then there was the last-minute drama of our credit cards "not working" while a taxi was waiting for us.) These problems seem to have been solved. We love the location, and the comfort of the room this time. We... More

What an amazing place to stay, the location is just perfect for the centre of rome and all the sights. You are no more than 7mins from the coliseum and 10mins from the Spanish steps. The location is just perfect! A great price for a simple yet very very clean room. The bathroom is perfectly clean, super hot shower (yes... More

Good location, within walking distance of Colosseum and Centro Storico. Rooms were simple, modern and reasonably clean (apart from hairs on one bathroom wall). The safe needed a new battery, and despite promises we didn't get one. One had to order breakfast in advance, and got it (instant coffee etc.) delivered to the room with a loud knock at a... More

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. Clean, safe, friendly and very reasonably priced. Helpful staff too. The location was perfect -- very close to all the sites and in a wonderfully quaint neighborhood. We would certainly recommend Soggiorno Comfort.

Rome hotels are expensive, and often pretty off-putting. This hotel was incredibly affordable, well-located, comfortable, perfectly clean, with a nice, friendly staff. The bed was comfy, cable TV was great (love to watch Tabitha's Salon Takeover in Italian!), mini-fridge a definite plus, Internet in the room actually worked and was fast (often a rarity in Italian hotels) and the price... Again, trip was in november 2008, not 2011. Booked this b&b from the airport after our flight home was cancelled for 2 days! by no means the worst b&b but far from the best, guys on reception were friendly enough, rooms were basic, there was a constant smell from the bathroom which wasn't the nicest! Overall probably not a hotel... More

This was our fourth visit to this place. In the past, we liked it. This time, it was unpleasant. In our first room, the A/C and refrigerator did not work, This was corrected by moving us to another room. When we checked out, "credit cards did not work." Unless these problems are corrected, I have to give a negative review... More

My fiancee and I stayer here on 2 separate occasions. Once in July and the other time in August. The location was superb, nearby all the wonderful sites, cafes, restaurants, shopping and tourist venues. The price was very affordable. The room was small, yet perfect for the two of us. I loved our street view, being able to look below... More

I am a budget traveler, in Rome for a funeral. I stayed over two weeks in the single room, was quite satisfied overall. The elevator entry is halfway up the first flight. Americans, be aware the "first" floor is up one in Europe. The staff all were great, housekeeping was outstanding. Very clean, also quiet, for Rome. I had plush... More
