We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this property. Having changed our minds at the last minute and lost our money on another hotel booked due to bad reviews we were not disappointed with our new choice. The owner Setefano could not have been more helpful. The room was modern and clean with a very comfortable mattress... More

My daughter and I spent a week at this lovely small boutique hotel -close to walking center of Rome but away from the crowds. Owner - Stefano and his staff were the best in ensuring we were comfortable and helpful in obtaining museum tickets as well as directing best navigational routes to see ancient Rome. Rooms were lovely and clean... More

A lovely quiet place near to the Vatican City and easy walking to all central Rome sights. Just across the Pont Sant Angelo bridge you can weave through the small streets, popping into unexpected but very pleasant Piazza's. Stephano very helpful with tickets, Internet etc. he also showed U.S. special places to visit in Rome and suggested cafes for breakfast... More

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms are, how easy it was to get everywhere and how helpful the owners were! The photos don't to Cassiodoro 19 Justice. A great place to stay if you are visiting the Vatican and the other sites of Rome. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby but a very quiet residential area.

The location is great. Around 10-15 minutes walk from metro. But Rome is not that big and all the places are within walking distance. Very close to Vatican City, walking to the Colosseum only takes less than an hour. Stefano, the manager, is very kind and helpful. He gave us suggestions on where to go and what we can find... More

this guest house was a great choice of place to stay. Within 10 mins of Vatican City and the Metro line. Most things are within walking distance such as restaurants, supermarket, shops and bars. The room was spacious and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. Our room was cleaned daily. No breakfast but tea/coffee provided. We were welcomed by friendly staff.... More

We had a vary nice experience for a weekend in Rome at Cassiosoro. The location is within a very convenient walking distance to the Vatican Museum, Sant' Angelo Castle or St. Pietro. The best surprise after a long day walking is the bed with an excellent mattress. Room was clean, silent and comfortable. A perfect choice for a trip to... More

We stayed at the Cassidoro a couple of weeks ago. The place feels cozy and nice since the very moment you get in there. It´s very new and tastefully decorated. We were given a room at the end of the corridor and although the views to the interior patio were not exactly great the room was completely noiseless which together... More

I stayed in Cassiodoro19 for 8 nights (a stately house with marble entrance, parquet floors, and a charming old school elevator) - the service is perfect: spacious enough, clean rooms that are cleaned daily, super bed with very comfortable mattress, clean bathroom with very hot shower. The wifi is free and of excellent speed; there is a flatscreen TV should... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
