Rome can be a daunting place for non Italian speaking people, so the hosts at Old Kitchen domake a huge difference to your stay. Simone and Annette are just one of a kind. It is in a pretty apartment block in a safe area. When you first arrive, the cheerful helpful Simone will sit down with you and over a... More

Have just returned from a four day stay in the Old Kitchen, and i have to agree totally with the other reviewers, it is just brilliant, a real home from home.Room and bathroom were spotless, modern and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect and the idea of being able to have breakfast or indeed any snack at your own convenience was... More

Many thanks to Annette and Simone! We never met such an appropriate accommodation in Europe and such friendly hosts. We can make such evaluation after 11 nights there. Do not search another place in Rome.

This B&B is located perfectly for both the vatican and transport to other parts of Rome but if you are young and fit you could probably walk everywhere anyway. The accommodation is spotlessly clean thanks to Annette and Simone gives you all the information you will need. My daughter and I stayed here for 5 days in April, in separate... More

A walkable (2-3 min) distance from a metro station is always and always the sole criterion of our choice of a hotel. My husband wanted to stay in the Vatican area so we zeroed on Ottaviano San Pietro (Linea A) metro station. But dissatisfied with our original booking, right before the start of our trip, I took up the challenge... More

This b&b is perfect, clean and comfortable for a stay in Rome. My partner and I stayed in the room which had a seperate bathroom and found this to be no problem. The owner is very helpful, providing a map and information on how to best see the city. There was always a range food in the fridge which guests... More

My husband and I stayed at the Old Kitchen B&B in September 2012 and we loved it. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very clean too. Simone (one of the owners) was very friendly and helpful.

On our first trip to Rome recently (October 2012) we stayed at Old Kitchen B&B for 3 nights. It was like a home from home. The room was modern, clean, comfortable and the private bathroom the same. Our bathroom was outside our room, a mere few footsteps away and had a separate key for use only by ourselves. Other rooms... More
