We stayed here for one night before a cruise in October and it was absolutely amazing. They upgraded our room to a suite and the room was very nice. It was very clean and so large! Even the bathroom! The beds were so comfortable and helped us sleep off our jet lag from our log flight. The staff was extremely... More

I am not sure where to begin ....... The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The communication was great, and the directions were very good. It was centrally positioned, so walking was easy. The beds were comfortable, but that's about all I can say was good. The Wi-Fi was horrible - I complained twice. Attention to details was lacking. A... More

The hotel is actually a condo building where some of the condos are hotel rooms. The beds are quite comfortable and the rooms are quite lovely, if a bit quirky. The hotel is perfectly located to walk to the Trevi FOuntain, the Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps and the Barberini station is only a few steps away to access the... More

Nice place - very central and you can walk to most places. We were upgraded to a suite. But attention to detail needed. Tissue box not refilled - only one teaspoon on tray - last day we had one teabag left. Housekeeping needs attention We stayed in the suite next to reception. Open the windows and look down on the... We were in Rome in July, family of four, and stayed at the Daphne. What a lovely place. Great breakfasts, generous room, ability to open windows if you want, very safe. Standout feature was the helpful reception staff who gave excellent restaurant recommendations and directions. We loved every minute.

Our stay at the Daphne was exceptional! The rooms are very clean with all the expected amenities. The breakfast s are very good, giving you a good start to your busy day in Rome. The location of the Daphne is perfect, on a quiet street, yet very central and within easy walking to many of the special places in the... More

This "hotel" is a series of apartment buildings that have been refurbished and converted into hotel rooms. There is a small "reception" apartment in the buildings, and the breakfast room is on the top floor. Well located near the Trevi Fountain. Helpful staff, in particular if you happen to speak Spanish, though their English is fine. Some good restaurants nearby,... More

We stayed here for 3 days as part of our 30 day vacation in Italy. The location was very convenient and the staff were very helpful with providing directions and great recommendations for various walking tours. The room has a modern vibe and price seemed very reasonable for Rome. The rooms were also very quiet.

Luca, Carlos, Gianni and Helen made out stay incredible!!! Personalized services and tours of Roma made our entire vacation unforgettable. A 16th century building with all the style and comfort of a modern 5 star hotel. The most comfortable king bed in any hotel and I travel 150 nights a year. I just finished a 10-day stay in Rome. When planning where to stay I consulted Lonely Planet, which bills the Daphne as a value hotel with great service. LP was totally right. I stayed at the location just off the Piazza Barberini. It is slightly hard to find, but our cabbie from the train station knew exactly where it was... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
