We stayed at the Daphne in April 2014. It is located close to the Trevi Fountain. We could walk to many major tourist destinations. It is located on a side street so the street noise was less than expected. The room was definitely small but great value. The breakfast buffet was quite good. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did... More

We stayed at the Trevi location at the end of July, 2014. The staff was great. Thanks to Ash for all the help in planning our days in Rome, arranging tours, and answering questions. We thought the breakfasts were great. Franca make us coffee! She is friendly and fun. Breakfast was filling with choices of meat, cheese, yogurt, cereal, pastries,... More

We booked the Daphne Trevi as the last leg of an 18 day trek from London to a Rome. The reviews in TripAdvisor were pretty much stellar. The positives: the location is excellent, the shower was the best on our trip and the staff were very helpful with recommendations for dinner (and their recommendations were spot on). The negatives: the... More

After two weeks in Italy, Rome and the Daphne Inn Trevi were our final destination before home. Daphne Inn is such a gem of a hotel. It is hidden in a charming little alley. We had the family room which was more like a two bedroom suite. We did have to walk through reception to get to our room but... More

This is our second time at Daphne Trevi and we were quite disappointed. It was clean and the hotel staff were great but otherwise it hasn't been kept up. The wifi was terrible, the shower almost overflowed after a couple of minutes, the air conditioning worked intermittently (even though they had repair men in), we requested a quiet room and... More

We traveled to Rome for 5 nights - 2 teenagers plus Mom and Dad. Dog tired from an overnight flight, we were greeted by the owner Elyssa Bernard, who sat with us for 30 minutes reviewing our next 5 days. Realizing we were hungry and brain dead, she brought a tray of pastries and coffee to our room. Our room... More

We recently spent 2 weeks in Italy and we ended our trip in Rome where we stayed at the Daphne Inn - Trevi. The staff could not have been more helpful. They gave us detail maps to go on our own and even offered private tours for a fee. We opted to go it alone and they highlighted routes of... More

It felt a bit unusual at first, to have our hotel nestled inside an apartment building. Our room, however, was spacious and very quiet. It could have used a bit of color in the decorations or on the walls. Also, having a junior suite, it would have been nice to have a television for winding down at night. That said,... More

The Daphne team love Rome, and they try to help you love it too. They offer good advice and are very nice people. Rome is a difficult city to get around for the uninitiated. The Daphne team really takes care of you and helps you unlock this beautiful but challenging city. Enjoy!

What makes this hotel very good value for money is the service: great staff, perfect english, great help with "dealing" with Rome from the moment you book with them until the very last minute you stay in the hotel. The location is central, quiet, the room is clean, comfortable and of decent size but all these would just make it... More
