Arriving after a long trip from Australia we were very happy to find this hotel was convenient, friendly & helpful. They went out of their way to give us early access to a room. They gave us detailed direction to get us started exploring nearby eateries, shopping & sights. Beautifully presented & extremely comfortable rooms; everything worked. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Aleph for 10days in July 2015 and were very pleased with hospitality and service of this boutique hotel. Location of the hotel is excellent- close to Spanish steps, Borghese gardens and Trevi fountain with its great restaurants. Metro station is about 100m away. Rooms have lovely modern design ( we stayed at renovated suit with two balconies... More

Almost missable down a side street, the Aleph is a little jewel once you step off the hot pavement into the air-conditioned haven of the lobby and bar area. There is a metro and shopping area about 5 minutes walk away. There is nothing wrong with the location but you would need to use public transport / taxi to get... More

Arrived in Rome the other night having booked in here online. Only to be told that they had deliberately overbooked, and so they would have to transfer us to another (crappy) hotel. One star awarded because they gave us an apology and a cocktail when we left - that's the only positive I have to say

I booked the Aleph for my family and I on our holiday, and I paid for the rooms in advance for 4 nights. The room had no air conditioning (summer in Rome?) and when I raised that issue, as well as others, with the hotel staff, I became a joke to them and received no service. The rooms were way... More

Dear Mr. Crevoiserat, thank you for the time spent writing your comment on Tripadvisor. However we shall disagree regarding the malfunction of the air conditioning. You were staying in rooms 318 and 317 and as you called us reporting several problems, we immediately asked our technician to come up and assist you; in fact he checked and restarted the air... This hotel is very good - but is clearly a work in progress. As a baseline- the rooms are small but fine - the staff is great and there is a solid restaurant - albeit a bit expensive. In the future, there will be a roof top lounge and there is a soon to be open spa. This hotel clearly... More

Dear Mr. Andy, We wish to thank you for the time spent writing your review on Tripadvisor. We are very pleased to learn your opinion about the skills of our staff and that you have appreciated our restaurant service. The new owner has started a full restyling of the building; we have just ended the cleaning of the façade, which... More

My husband and I stayed here for a day for our honeymoon. Thank goodness. The staff are not very accommodating. Francesca at the front desk was rude to my husband. He was asking for assistance in finding a phone company here in Italy and she said they only spoke Italian. We asked if she could call/assist and she flat out... More

Dear Mrs. Katherine, We wish to thank you for the time you have spent writing your comment on Tripadvisor. I am sure that there must have been a misunderstanding upon the arrival; Mrs. Francesca has tried to help your husband with the roaming operation on his cellphone, by giving direction to the closest “3-store” and by digiting the customer service... Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
