Can't say enough nice things about this cute little hotel. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. We were able to check-in early (10amish) and were served cappuccinos while we waited. The room was unexpectedly larger than we though it would be, with high ceilings and own stairway to our room. The bed was quite comfortable, nice TV and... More

We had 2 rooms and both were excellent. The children had a split level room with a mezanine floor which they loved and we had a superior double up its own little staircase which felt like an oasis of care amidst the bustle of Rome in the hight of summer. Stylishly designed with very well equipped bath or shower rooms,... More

Staff were friendly and attentive, atmosphere in the hotel was lovely. Couldn't fault the room, everything you would think of they had available in the bathroom for your use and a lovely tea and coffee facility to use at your discretion in the room. Wi-Fi was good as well, lovely little restaurants around and within walking distance to most of... More

We stayed three days in Rome in Relais Giulia. The hotel has a very good location, close to the Vatican and to Piazza Navona. Reception staff was very friendly. The room was a Superior room, not so big but totally ok, a very comfortable doublebed and a fresh and clean bathroom. The breakfast was, as in most Italian hotels, not... More

This small boutique hotel has plenty of character. It's decor is smart and stylish and our room was quaint with stone steps leading from the main door into the room and had shuttered windows. From other reviews, each room is unique, ours had a very small bathroom but was fine for our needs. Nice little touches like bottled water every... More

This is a true gem in Rome. Perfectly located, full of personality, and with great service. The rooms are beautifully decorated and you'll feel more at a very tasteful friend's guest bedroom than at a hotel. A stone away from the Vatican, the area is quiet and with a unique "Roman" vibe. Very comfortable beds too.

Via Giulia is the perfect street for a Rome hotel. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the Piazza Navona in one direction and the Vatican in the other direction. The street is quiet and unassuming, as it the hotel. From the outside, the hotel looks like the typical palazzo in Rome. It is so unassuming that we walked... More

I stayed with my wife for a a few days as part of our belated honeymoon trip. The room was as described on the Internet, clean and spacious with all amenities. We spent most of the day walking around Rome. I'd definitely come back..just to walk down Via Guilia! It's such a beautiful Street.

We booked 5 days at this hotel for a family of 4 (Parents in their 40s and 2 sons 19&20) When we checked in at the hotel we were surprised when a cab picked us up and took us to an apartment a few blocks down. The apartment was on the fourth floor with no elevator. (This wasn't an issue... More

The hotel is a really cute and excellently restored boutique hotel in the very centre of the city. Newly refurbished so everything works. Sadly we arrived late (or maybe because we booked through e-bookers) so were given a double room that was tiny. So much so, that we asked to change. We were told that the hotel was full so... More

Dear Martin B., first of all thank you for sharing your experience at Relais Giulia, with the other Tripadvisor's readers. We would like to point out that our historical building (15th Century, the Papal residence of that period), now renovated, has been adapted to our little boutique Relais with 13 rooms available. At the moment of the booking, you can... More
