This hotel was almost perfect for our stay in Rome. Nice rooms of above average size. Excellent, absolutely ideal location. Very helpful staff. The hotel also made no-hassle arrangements for the parking of our car. We had adjoining (but not interconnecting) rooms for our kids which worked out fine. So, why four stars? The breakfast was absolutely terrible. Eggs were... More

I stayed in this hotel for a weekend in July, the hotel is very central in the historic part of the city, everything is walkable distance and it's on a lovely square. By far the best part of the hotel is the rooftop bar and restaurant - it's fantastic! We stayed in a standard room which was very nice and... More

Nice hotel. It looks good, clean, comfortable, service ok, blah, blah, blah. But the jewel in this hotels crown is where it sits. Not just in Rome but right in the middle of old Rome. The Pantheon is literally a stones throw away, so before breakfast you can wander and wonder around such an illustrious building before the crowds get... More

This is a very nice hotel in a fantastic location. Step out the door and you are close to everything - sights, restaurants, shopping - everything. The rooms are nice as you would expect for the price, but I can't say memorable really. The fitness center (room) is very basic, don't plan on anything special there for sure. The rooftop... More

Service at this hotel is first rate! I asked the front desk to print some papers I needed and they were delivered within minutes! Room was a good size and bathroom was spotless. Loved the rooftop bar - wonderful views. The location was the real benefit of staying here - the Piazza in front of the Pantheon is lively and... More

We arrived into Rome by train at 10:30 and took a taxi to the hotel. We checked in, dropped off our luggage and were told to return around 3:00 (15:00) which we expected. As the hotel is in a very lively area I requested a higher floor in our room classification to avoid street noise. The person said okay, and... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review, happy to know that, in the end, you had a good experience staying with us. I asked the receptionists why they did not comply with your request of a high floor, they told me that they could not do it simply because of the high occupancy period, the first availability of classic rooms... This is a beautiful, smallish hotel located a block from the Pantheon on the relatively quiet and very convenient Piazza della Minerve. Our deluxe room was lovely, with high ceilings and huge windows overlooking the piazza. The furnishings were smart and well thought out but just on the verve of getting tired. The bathroom was nice, and roomy for Europe,... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind review and your critics, we have forwarded them to our maintenance department that is taking the necessary steps to solve the issues. About the elevators, we are not allowed to fix them by our self, so we have to rely on an external company, that has it’s own priorities. Thank you again, I... More

As others have said, this hotel is in a great location but also had a great atmosphere. There is a rooftop bar and restaurant which was great as we visited in July when it was hot. The staff were really helpful and we were able to stay in our room free of charge on the last day of our holiday... More

I spent 4 nights at the Grand Hotel de la Minerve and was very surprised at the shabby state of the room I was given. Their website states that their rooms were recently upgraded, but the "Classic" room I booked was in terrible shape. The ceiling in the bathroom was warped and leaked water, there was mold, the furniture was... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your evaluation. A different point of view is always useful to understand how and what to improve service and quality. I have forwarded your critic to the interested departments, maintenance and housekeeping. The room you stayed in, 4th floor facing internal courtyard, is the favorite room of a couple of returning guests, who have never... More

This hotel is brilliantly located in the heart of historic Rome. All the major sites are within easy walking distance – a priceless asset. (It’s hard to beat waking up to a one-minute stroll to the Pantheon!) The roof top terrace bar and restaurant are also tremendous features. We had one dinner under the stars – the food was fabulously... More
