The location is really good and also people at front desk was lovely . But the room was really not very clean needs painting and to renovate the toilette , the shower cabin was so small ! there are lots of restaurants and bars and many things to do very near just walking 5 minutes you are everywhere .

We are in the Terrace Suite on the 4th floor rooftop. The best things about it are the location and the terrace itself. The apartment is very small, not very clean, and needs updating. The refrigerator stinks and the sponge wreaks. Kitchen towels are "not included". Minimal utensils,VERY firm twin mattresses, the toilet barely flushes and the vending machine is... More

The only thing we didn't love was that our room was on the first floor and because the hotel is on a hill it essentially meant we were in a basement. But the room was nice and clean, just a bit basement-y and musty. The staff was lovely, they were very kind to our young daughter. We arrived early and... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with my GF, location is incredible, staff amazing(Esp' Maurizio) room upgrade 2 which made our trip! The hotel is older but don't let that put you off, In Rome you spend very little time there and location on a short trip is key..We had the most amazing time and loved our terrace suite..Good value great location... Well the manager's photo's on TripAdvisor are lovely arent, they.....lovely sparkling bathroom, beautiful views across rome from the window, etc. Our room was on the ground floor and we didn't.t see a bit of sunlight in it the whole time we were there because our window directly face a Wall which was the entire height of the hotel. We could not... More

The location is great if you are looking to be near many of the great Rome sites. The area can be loud at night, however it's Rome, lots of places will be even louder. The bed is honestly the hardest thing we have ever slept on, it was a pad on wood, if you are anything like us you will... More

This hotel is in a great neighborhood with very good restaurants and gelato shop close. The staff is very quick to help arrange any tour or provide directions. While the rooms were small the location and price made up for it. There is a great room top terrace, while it doesn't offer any views it does offer a nice place... More

This hotel is well located, close to amazing restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again. My suite was spacious. I had a small problem booking travel, and inadvertently chose incorrect dates for my visit. The hotel owner ensured that I was taken care of properly so that I had a place to stay. Amazing customer service. Well beyond... More

I was given a 1st floor room and from the moment I opened the door I knew I couldn't stay there. It was like a prison. It was just tiny room with a hard sofa bed and an even tinier bathroom which was damp and mouldy. It was all white and the window was boarded up. When I opened it... More

We stayed with our two young kids in a 1-bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor for a week over New Year's and it was a very relaxing vacation. The location was the best part about Leonina - midway between the Colosseum and Termini. We made breakfast with groceries from the Elite shop on Via Cavour, and got dinners takeaway from... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
