I have stayed in other places in Rome that were disappointing, but not this time. The room was comfortable, and the staff were helpful concerning special requests. The hotel is located outside the main tourist areas, but it is easy to get there on the metro or bus. In the vicinity were all the services needed, including some very good... More

First impressions of this hotel were good - walking into an air conditioned lobby after a very hot walk from Tiburtina Station was a huge relief! All staff encountered throughout our stay were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. There was always plenty of hot water and the shower was... More

I had such a lovely time here. The hotel is well run and had all the amenities I needed. They offer a wonderful variety of foods for the complementary breakfast. The room was clean and well maintained.

Nice hotel at very reasonable price, well located (5 minute walk from the Bologna metro station). It is also just in front of a supermarket which is very practical. Lots of restaurants nearby. Rooms are small and old but the bathroom was renovated. I recommend!

Arrived at the hotel and greeted by very nice and welcoming reception team. Check-in early, room lovely and spacious, clean and equipped with all the essentials. Only bad point no tea available in the room, only coffee and mini bar, but no tea. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely, nice views. Plenty of cold food choices hams and cheeses, pastries... More

It was a nice place to stay. The A/C worked pretty good. The beds were a bit firm for my taste. The showercabin was not 100% watertied, but it wasnt a big problem. The minibar was nice and cool and very cheap. Breakfast on the rooftop was great with plenty of different things. The neighborhood is fine with nice pizzeria's... More

Situated close to the historical center, it is a pretty good value for the money. You can take the subway nearby to reach the best sites. Also nice little shops around, although this location is typically crowded by college students. Overall a nice experience.

At first we were concerned a bit the distance of this hotel from the center of the city; however, we quickly learned that both the Tiburtina train station and the Bologna subway station were within a 5 minute walking distance. They made our visit to Rome very easy! The room was really nice with very good air conditioning, the bathroom... More

Stayed at the hotel for three nights, received a cheap upgrade to junior suite. Only a few minutes walk to metro (tube). You can pretty much get to anywhere in Rome in a few minutes. Breakfast great. Definitely recommend!

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
