Had a 4 day break in Rome with 3 friends and booked this hotel plus flights through lastminute.com. The hotel is spotless and the staff are fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. The mini-bar and hotel bar are really good value - I couldn't get a glass of prosecco for 2 euros in the UK!! Breakfast was wonderful, there... More

Peaceful location, nice staff. Very good breakfast. It takes ~20 min to walk into Termini station, but we used subway instead and everything went fine. This hotel was 30 euros cheaper per night than other hotels nearby, and we're very happy we went there. Excellent value!

We stayed here between 13 and 18 April 2015. Rome was fantastic, we had a great time, with beautiful weather 21-22 Celsius degree, sunny. The Hotel is ok, 7 minutes walk from Bologna Metro station, room 201 with bathroom and balcony big, clean and quiet, hot shower 24 hours, staff friendly, breakfast perfect (we loved the fresh vegetables juice, the... The breakfast is good, better than I was expecting. The subway is a little far, but you can walk 10 minutes and find it easily in the same road. The street is empty, which made me concern about thieves, but has some restaurants, cafés and cinemas, which made me feel more safe. The bedroom and bathroom are with good size... More

This hotel is slightly out of the centre of Rome however is a short 5 minute walk to Bologna Metro station which takes you directly into the centre within 5 minutes. The hotel is basic but comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is very good - continental buffet. If you are eating out around the hotel there are... More

Really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere of the hotel is very good. The lovely roof garden. A wide variety of breakfast and good quality. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is clean. The staff is friendly helpful. In contrast to grocery shop and a good restaurant. The Metro is a few minutes' walk (Bologna) The 62 bus a few... More

I stayed in this hotel whilst on a business trip, very tired rooms probably wouldn't pick this one myself. The staff we were friendly enough and the breakfast was ok. The walls were very thin so it was very noisy at night, remember to take your ear plugs with you!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel del Province. Room was clean and comfortable, and the staff helpful and friendly. Really convenient for access to all the main sights. You catch the 310 bus into the terminus, where you can either explore by tour bus or catch the Metro. We did a mixture of both, if we go again I... More

I stayed for a week from 19th to 26th March 2015, visiting to watch the Wales v Italy 6 Nations Rugby match. The hotel was moderately busy but the internal services coped with it well. The reception staff were helpful especially recommending IL Tunnell a local and excellent restaurant about 400 yards away easily reached on foot. Breakfast is served... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
