Didn't want to spend too much on a hotel with the anticipation of being out and about for the majority of the time and this hotel turned out to be excellent value for money. Very clean, nice modern decor, large room and very quiet and relaxed. Reception staff very helpful in providing advice on any type of holiday query. Wifi... More

What more could you want? The hotel rooms were beautifully clean with excellent air con. The communal areas were very well decorated: quirky yet stylish. We walked everywhere from the hotel on a daily basis as the nearest metro station was 10 minutes away. However, a taxi to Termini station was only €10 maximum. Staff were friendly and the reception... More

Have just returned from city break and would agree with much of the previous reviews. I chose the hotel after reading the previous reviews and got a good deal through british airways. Check in was smooth and had a room on the 4th floor (5 floors in total). Rooms do vary, looking at the pictures ours was smaller and only... More

Stayed for two nights in July. Fiume Hotel was clean, inviting and modern. Rooms were average size with trendy fixtures such as the bathroom sink. Our families occupied 3 different rooms and all were just as good as the next one. AIr Conditioner worked great and had no problem sleeping with the windows open one night. Hotel was very helpful... The hotel was very clean, staff in general was very nice. Air conditioning did not work well and street noise was very loud with windows open making for less than optimal sleeping. Bizarre shower design that led to entire bathroom flooding whenever someone took a shower. Breakfast was good for an omnivore, vegans I suggest you bring some peanut butter... More

I booked a hotel room at Fiume for 3 nights in July. The staff was helpful, the hotel was clean, and location was great. I booked this hotel knowing it wasn't close to the sites but it was close to metro and a cab station. There were also lots of great restaurants closeby. The breakfast was basic but good. The... More

Nice modern hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are really modern but the room we had was very very small, it just about fit a double bed in. Had a small balcony but 2 people could just about stand on it. However we only paid EUR 200 for 2 nights. We could however hear next door, we... More

The hotel was clean. The staff was helpful but not super friendly. The location is more among the locals which gives it several good restaurants nearby, but out of the way for tourist locations. Cabs in Rome tend to be expensive and the only other option is bus transportation. I liked the hotel but would stay more central if I... More

I stayed in this hotel from 7th July-10th July and couldn't have asked for a better stay. We got the train from the airport to Termini which took 35 minutes and the hotel was about 15 minutes walk from Termini Station. We never once took a bus or taxi as everything was accessible on foot with the furthest walk being... More

We stayed at Hotel Fiume for 3 nights. The hotel atmosphere was wonderful with a beautiful lobby, free wi-fi and a superior breakfast. The hotel staff was very accommodating and service was good. The rooms were modern and sleekly decorated, bed was very comfortable, and balcony was great with a wonderful view of the city streets. The bathroom was well... More
