We were late coming in without reservations and we told our taxi driver to find a hotel close to the Colosseum so this is where he stopped . We checked in and found how to get to attractions , very friendly attendant and nice room , no trouble at all , I even forgot my memory card for my camera... More

Typical European hotel, small, but nicely located within walking distance to all major sites. Has a lift with a morning buffet (extra) and a very nice cafe nearby (Cafe Brazila). Off the main roads so it is quiet.

The location was potentially the only thing 4 star about this hotel. I booked this for our last night in Italy before our flight out. We stayed at another hotel in Rome at the beginning of our trip and throughout the entire 2 weeks in Italy (Florence, Cinque Terre, Perugia) we stayed at all ranges of hotels at similar price... The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the Colosseum, and Trevi Fountain. The room I stayed in was incredibly tiny, luckily there was only myself! Only just enough room to walk around my suitcase, and I am tiny! The bathroom absolutely stunk, had to keep the bathroom door shut constantly. I had to search around the room for... More

The location was perfect to get around without a car. Good access to public transport although very little was needed as everything was walking distance. The hotel was amazingly clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful as we were welcomed and given a map and told about all the main bus routes. They also book some day trips... More

The hotel was alright. The location was good, close to lots of sights and the city centre. Some of the staff were friendly, some of the staff were rude and abrupt. The floor boards in the halls were not secure and a major trip hazard. The rooms were large but the beds were fairly uncomfortable and it had the tiniest... More

We arrived early, and were kindly let in to our room, which was at the back, nice and traditional, not the biggest, but perfect for us. We kept our window open at night, it was so quiet for the city centre. The location is perfect for exploring the Colosseum, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. We walked everywhere, as the hotel... I have stayed elsewhere in Rome before and this hotel was by far a better location and very central. Short 900m walk from the colosseum metro station and the coliseum itself. Beautiful ruins of the old city right around the corner. We walked to the piazza square for dinner and also to the Trevi fountain. Lots of places to see... More

We've just come back from a really great long weekend trip to Rome having stayed at the Cosmopolita. The hotel was great. Good rooms, lovely staff, good breakfast but the one thing that really made it for us was the location. It's perfect! A couple of mins out the door and left and you're already in sight of the Colosseum.... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
