Helpful staff, we had trouble with our fridge and the maintenance man was very prompt and efficient. The porter was not so helpful. The room was small and our view was internal, over the rubbish bin courtyard. The bathroom was good. Breakfast was excellent with a large range of food to choose from. If you go to the rooftop area,... More

Excellent location but subpar condition of the hotel. Old building with only one elevator. Air-conditioning in poor order. Only good thing is proximity of all major attractions Rome offers. 5-10 min walk to the Colosseum and Fontana Trevi.

This is a great choice of hotel for the picky comfort-seeking, almost-budget traveler. The location is the hotel's biggest pro. Walking distance to all major sights (the farthest we walked was to the Vatican, which took around 40 min.). Our room was a bit old fashioned, but clean and comfortable, with a nice high roof and big bed. Details such... More

We picked the hotel because of its very central location and we were not disappointed in that regard. Here's a partial list of our complaints: Thermostat was only for decoration. If we left AC on we froze, off the room was sweltering. Switch for main lamp didn't work. We had to unplug it to turn it off. TV required an... More

The front desk process (in and out) is pathetic at this hotel. I had one of the front desk guys yell at me to get out of line because he was not wanting to deal with a question while checking others in even though I waited in line for at least 20 minutes. The bellman wouldn't help take suitcases to... More

Dear 313heatherj56, Thank you so much for your feedback. I am truly sorry you were disappointed in your recent stay with us and foremost if we did not meet your expectations. I am very afraid if you read on the web that we our hotel have a rooftop bar, that is a wrong information, not reported on our official website.... More

Myself and my new wife stayed here for our honeymoon, which was booked for us by family. We enjoyed the whole of our 5 nights. The room was a good size and the shower was nice. The room location was quiet given its central location. This was very handy in accessing all the local sights and attractions such as colosseum,... More

I stayed here for 3 nights. It was walking distance to the colliseum and the trevi fountain which was great. It was also a very short bus ride to the Vatican. The location is great. the hotel is clean and the staff was very friendly. Some cons were that the hot water went out for our first 2 days so... More

Stayed here for three nights with my boyfriend in August 2014, was a really nice big room, very clean and lots of useful amenities in the bathroom and the hotel was in a great location and close to all the sights like the Roman Forum and Trevi Fountain. The staff were very nice and let us check in as soon... More

There's an old adage that goes, "first impressions are everything." By that saying Hotel Cosmopolita fails miserably in making a memorable first impression. When I walked into the lobby of this hotel the first thing that stuck out was how dirty the walls were. For a hotel that likes to say it is a four star property you would think... More
