We stayed at the Hotel Cosmopolita in December 2014. The location of the hotel was great and not far from most places you'd want to visit, either by walking or a short cab ride. Be wary, though, as the hotel is non-smoking as a whole, but is attached to buildings that are decidedly not...we were awakened one evening by smoke... More

Very central location, near the Piazza Venezia! Rooms are clean. And the staff is very friendly, especially the older guy behind the reception! I was there in january 2015 with a friend and we thought it wasn't expensive at all. We will come back for a second time!

The wifi is free but it hardly works. I am not talking fast movie streaming, just general internet browsing. Definitely meeds improving. As for the room, ours was clean and spacious. The toiletries were well stocked up and they offer a safety box in the wardrobe which is free. The breakfast costs only 7 euros 50 cent. they also have... More

We were very close to giving this hotel 4*s as it was in an amazing location, the decor was nice & the staff were friendly. Unfortunately our room was at the back of the hotel which backed onto a busy road so I didn't sleep very well at all due to the noise, I must say though the bed was... More

Great location. We loved having Ancient Rome as our backyard. But that's it. Hotel not as advertised. NOT a 4 star hotel by any standards. And not worth the 4 star price! We had 2 rooms for 4 nights. On two separate days, we had to ask for hot water for our rooms! The bathrooms were tiled, floor and walls,... More

We stayed here for six nights over the New Year. We could not believe how close we were to the major attraction's, almost opposite the Roman Forum, Colosseum five minutes walk and some great restaurants. All the staff were very friendly, always making us feel welcome and speaking to us politely. We paid for breakfast as an extra a couple... More

This hotel is, in my opinion, one of the best locations in Rome. It is minutes away from the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. For this reason alone, it deserves the 4/5 rating. The downside to the hotel is the dated interior - very 1980s! We used the hotel restaurant for a quick lunch two afternoons as it was... More

We had a great stay, room facing courtyard very quiet. Comfortable beds clean rooms; if you're picky bring shampoo and conditioner. They have dove dispenser for shampoo which worked fine for me but I bought conditioner. Pretty rooms crisp sheets hardwood floors. Close to most of the sights, we walked everywhere. Never felt unsafe. Recommended a very nice restaurant and... More

close to pretty much everything. The hotel itself is great, clean and the staff offered great service. Good experience overall, we would stay here again. The only thing we would say is that it is not as close to the airport as you would want it to be, so if you have to catch a flight you would have to... More

Even though the room was tiny (Same size as my bathroom back home), it was in a perfect location. Wife and I walked everywhere from this location and I mean everywhere. By the time we arrived back every evening we didn't really care about the size of the room as long as we had beds to sleep on. The room... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
