I wanted to rate this 4 stars, but I can't due to the issues I'll list in the next paragraph. First, the good stuff: The location of this hotel is fantastic. There are several bus stops nearby (though the Rome transport leaves something to be desired). The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms are small, but you aren't in... More

Stayed at the Cosmopolita for 5 nights and could not have been happier. A wonderful greeting on arrival set us up for a great stay. Room spacious and spotlessly clean! We did however find the bed and pillows on the hard side, resulting in restless nights however we did not let that spoil our stay. Breakfast was very good with... More

Our stay was for 5 nights in February 2015. The hotel's location is excellent - near the Piazza Venezia, just north of the Imperial forums and south of the Via del Corso - but on a quiet side street away from traffic. A central point for many bus connections but one can do as we did and just walk everywhere.... More

I booked this hotel very last min and was thrilled with the location & room. The rate was excellent as well. (off season) We walked absolutely everywhere and there are many restaurants, shopping and ruins very close. Felt very safe in this location as well. The staff was nice, breakfast was a good value and the room was lovely. The... More

We stayed here in January 2015 and it is a great base for exploring Rome! The hotel is a great location for exploring all the culture that Rome has to offer. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The only problem we had was the bathroom had a smell of cigarette smoke in it when we checked in.... More

Myself and my boyfriend recently stayed at the Cosmopolita Hotel in Rome. The location was fantastic, the staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean. My boyfriend is a very light sleeper and unfortunately he could hear people passing in the corridor and found it hard to sleep. I on the other hand am a very heavy sleeper and... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Cosmopolita during January 2015. After reading the many positive reviews about this hotel we were not disappointed. The location is the big selling point being in easy walking distance of the Coliseum, Trevi fountain, Pantheon and Spanish steps. The décor is a bit dated but we found it to be very clean... More

4 night stay in Rome January 2015. Traveled with Easyjet Holidays. Hotel is in a perfect location. Easy walking distance to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps.... The list goes on. Even The Vatican is within walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was pleasant. Absolutely no problems with the bed - perfectly comfortable. The... 4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2015

We stayed at the Hotel Cosmopolita in December 2014. The location of the hotel was great and not far from most places you'd want to visit, either by walking or a short cab ride. Be wary, though, as the hotel is non-smoking as a whole, but is attached to buildings that are decidedly not...we were awakened one evening by smoke... More

Very central location, near the Piazza Venezia! Rooms are clean. And the staff is very friendly, especially the older guy behind the reception! I was there in january 2015 with a friend and we thought it wasn't expensive at all. We will come back for a second time!

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
