We stayed there for a week-end and were looking for a nice italien Hotel. The webiste and their offer seemed expensive, but worth the location and the offer. When we got there we experienced a very unfriendly welcome, where we had to wait to check-in because the rezeptionist had administrative tasks to finnish. The rooms were clean and elegant, but... Location is great, if your reasonably fit everything is walking distance. The staff vary from polite to just don't want to know you. The rooms are clean but plain, the so called terrace was closed, no explanation why as when we booked it was supposed to only be closed Winter, and as for the restaurant it served breakfast which was... We have stayed here on three separate trips and have found very satisfying. Excellent location to explore the historical city. A bit of a walk to the Vatican but doable. Breakfast is good and coffee is great! Rooms are good size for Europe, showers are a bit tight in some rooms but again it’s in an historic building in Europe.... More

Great location in Rome, within 15 minutes walk of some of the main attractions. Hotel is in a flat location and made a change returning to the hotel not to be walking uphill or climbing steps. We had a lovely room, huge bed, easily sleep 3, writing desk, mini bar and power shower. Great air con and double glazing making... More

Helpful staff, we had trouble with our fridge and the maintenance man was very prompt and efficient. The porter was not so helpful. The room was small and our view was internal, over the rubbish bin courtyard. The bathroom was good. Breakfast was excellent with a large range of food to choose from. If you go to the rooftop area,... More

Excellent location but subpar condition of the hotel. Old building with only one elevator. Air-conditioning in poor order. Only good thing is proximity of all major attractions Rome offers. 5-10 min walk to the Colosseum and Fontana Trevi.

This is a great choice of hotel for the picky comfort-seeking, almost-budget traveler. The location is the hotel's biggest pro. Walking distance to all major sights (the farthest we walked was to the Vatican, which took around 40 min.). Our room was a bit old fashioned, but clean and comfortable, with a nice high roof and big bed. Details such... More

We picked the hotel because of its very central location and we were not disappointed in that regard. Here's a partial list of our complaints: Thermostat was only for decoration. If we left AC on we froze, off the room was sweltering. Switch for main lamp didn't work. We had to unplug it to turn it off. TV required an... More

The front desk process (in and out) is pathetic at this hotel. I had one of the front desk guys yell at me to get out of line because he was not wanting to deal with a question while checking others in even though I waited in line for at least 20 minutes. The bellman wouldn't help take suitcases to... More
