My wife had her necklace ripped off her neck at 18:30 on a Sunday evening. The mugging happened about 40 meters from the Corona. I chased the mugger right by the owner of the Corona and his son who were talking on the sidewalk. I screamed at them to stop him, but they just ignored me. I came back and... More

We are really sorry what happened to Mr. Greg. S. At the moment we were talking to some customers at the reception desk. We heard some shouting in the street in the distance and we could not realize what was going on at that instant. Soon Mr. Greg came in the hotel screaming that his wife had been robbed. He... More

The hotel is basic, the rooms very small (2.5 * 3 Sq M) but clean. The staff was OK. We were surprised at night that the water in the shower were lukewarm. (It was 8 degrees out side). The reception guy that came to check, said: "for me it's the right temperature for a shower so it's your personal opinion... More

Stayed again at this Hotel after several years and found it just as good as the previous time. Staff and Management still in place, pleasant, helpful and fluent in English. Like other reviewers the location is excellent, close to Termini and buses to take you into the centre. Rooms were clean and quiet...ask for a room facing the courtyard. Also... More

Staff is great, place is cozy and warm but the rooms are not small. The location is what makes this place shine as it is close to the Termini station (walking distance) so you don't have to carry the luggage around the city. Also, there is a bike/scooter rental place just across the street and these are the two best... More

It´s a very comfortable hotel in a very good part of Rome. 8 minutes walk from Termini but with a very pleasant surround, plenty of shops and restaurants. 3 minutes from Santa Maria Maggiore, 25 minutes from via del Corso. Near two subways. The street is very quiet. The hotel has a nice appearance, nice decoration, immaculate clean, everyday cleaning... More

This time I searched very carefully for a convenient hotel, because I was going to take my mother for her first Rome weekend. I wanted the hotel to be clean, with nice atmosphere and conveniently located. All this seemed to be in Corona Hotel and all appeared to be true. Very kind and helpful staff, at our disposal every moment.... More

I stayed at Corona Hotel in September 2011. I had stayed in several hotels during my tour of Italy, London and Paris and this was without a doubt the most comfortable bed I had slept in. It was nice waking up refreshed each morning and without an aching back for a change! We had a clean room, very good shower,... More

This was the last hotel we stayed at on our 17 day trip to Italy and it was one of the worst. Charges for everything (10 euro for wifi/day, 5 euro/day for the safe, no local calls without a charge). We had a travel agent take care of hotels, so we thought we'd be ok. breakfast was included with our... More
