The room I stayed in was very small, but reasonably clean, although the shower curtain had seen better days. When I arrived the room was lovely and cool, however the air conditioning was turned off in the middle of the night and wasn't turned back on for two days. Bare in mind I don't like heat, so some people may... more

The room was VERY clean but sparse. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have a lot of street noise, but the first night there, I heard people next door come in and they might as well have been in my room.... the walls are very thin and you can hear everything. The breakfast left a lot to be... more

The hotel is very good, nice, clean rooms, good bathroom. The people at the reception are friendly and helpfull. We liked the breakfast: the fresh sandwiches, the fresh cheese and ham and the marmelades and last, bus not least, the cakes. The "breakfast lady" worked very hard. She is friendly as well. That the hotel is situated at a distance... more

My wife & I recently stayed with our school party at the Hotel Corona, Via Napoli 3, 00184 Roma. The hotel, which is owned & run by Luciano Casco, is centrally situated within walking distance of Termini Station & the Bus Station. The hotel which is 3 starred is wonderfully clean & comfortable & surprisingly is in a quiet location.... more

Location - just 10 minutes walk from Termini station, walking distance to many attractions like S. Maria Maggiore Church (for the Catholics-must go to this beautiful church), we even walked to Colosseo, Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi etc, not too hard as we enjoyed the historic scene all around. Supermarket - we always returned late at night (after... more

When we arrived at the Hotel, the owners spoke perfect English and advised us where to go, eat, and what to see. The hotel is on a small side street(Via Napoli) in the heart of the city so its quiet but has easy access to everything. We shopped Via Nationale(we could afford) and walked to the forum. Public transportation was... more

We had the misfortune to have our pasports stolen in Sicily so had to return to Rome to apply for temporary pasports before we could continue our travels. We stayed at Corona Hotel which is centrally located and about 10 minutes walk from Termini Station and in view of the Opera House. We found the hotel to be comfortable and... more

April when I was in Rome we stayed at the Hotel Corona in via Napoli - it ticks all the boxes! Namely the easy access from Fuimicino Airport then the train to Termini followed by a comfortable walk to Corona thereby totally doing away with taxis which cost me 80 Euros last time. Every weekday there's a small market located... more
