stayed there for two nights. the room and the bed were very clean and well kept, though small (by USA standards, maybe not when traveling europe on a budget). it's not a fancy place, but if you just need an affordable place to stay the night (I was out and about town from morning till night time), and you have... The hotel was not bad as far the rooms go. But everything but the room cost money. WIFI was a charge. Ok many hotel do that but to charge for the safe in the room? TO make matters worse the save had a key. The lobby registration area was too small so check out during peak times was a trial.... More

Good located hotel, only a few steps from Roma Termini. From the hotel you can visit most sites by foot. I realy have appreciated the warm hospitality. They are so friendly in this hotel, and important: at the reception they all speak fluently French and Englisch.

We were very pleased with the value we received at the Corona Hotel. We had our daughter with us and we stayed there 5 nights. The location is quite convenient.. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were small, as expected, but the hotel has a large lobby / common area that was excellent. When I needed to sit down... More

We wanted to see the Colosseum and the Sistine Chapel and this hotel was THE most convenient one; out the door, end of block, up the stairs and you are at the Chapel. The room was small but the beds were clean and comfortable. It seems that all the showers are small in Italy so we just excepted the size... More

We truly enjoyed our stay here on our first visit to Rome in December 2013. The street is in an interesting location with a flea market daily and within walking distance of some good food and bus stops. The best thing about the hotel was the friendly and helpful staff that made us feel at home and offered useful maps... More

Just a short walk from Termini station, this hotel offers clean accommodation for a good price. Wireless Internet is available, along with breakfast in the dining room downstairs. Single rooms are quite small, however contain own bathroom facilities. The staff are extremely friendly. I have taken a taxi from here to the Airport for 50 Euro, however the cheaper alternative... I am a regular visitor to Rome and often stay in hotels in this area as its great for getting around the city. This is a good 3 star option in my opinion. Clean rooms and hotel, friendly staff, and well located - lots of good restaurants nearby. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Rome.

Corona hotel is located in a very good place 5-10 minutes on foot to termini station and piazza Repubblica. Although the fact that the room is small, is very clean and comfortable. In addition it was very warm at night and we had hot water in the bathroom. I have to make a special mention to the staff that is... More

The best thing about this hotel is definitly location and staff and i think that is where it ends. all the rest is just average, for the price i paid i would definitly expect more. location is great and to get to the airport you got the train or the but that leaves from the central station and costs around... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
