We just returned from a 3 day stay in Rome at Hotel City. We are a married couple and travelled together with our 2 teenaged daughters. Firstly, the hotel advertises that they are located 300m from Barberini station, so once we arrived there from Termini train station, we decided to walk. Don't make the same mistake we did as navigating... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Hotel City for 7 nights! Our room was really nice and clean. Loved how the rooms were very tall! The hotel itself is quite nice! The staff was excellent, especially the guy that was usually at night time! Apart from one guy who always seemed moody but thankfully we didn't have to see him... More

Hotel City is very well placed, in easy walking distance of many attractions. There was no street noise and the room was clean. The morning staff were pleasant and helpful. However, the room was not well maintained with huge cracks in the plaster. The bed might have been made of stone, it was that hard and uncomfortable. After a delayed... More

Stayed in this hotel for three nights as part of a 10 day trip to Italy. Hotel itself looked a bit tired and in need of some refurbishment. Room was comfortable enough with decent air conditioning. Bed was a bit short for me though. Bathroom was compact but clean. Desk staff seemed disinterested although polite. WiFi restricted to 2hrs free... More

Very clean, centrally located, a beautiful building with a history, and a quaint Roman breakfast. Unfortunately, the definition of air-conditioned rooms is somewhat different than USA standards. It was a little too warm at night, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Would recommend to family and friends.

Hotel City was centrally located which made it nice to walk everywhere. Nice staff, clean and simple. The only disappointment was they do not offer free wifi. There are plenty of hotels that offer free wifi, so I would definitely stay somewhere else next time I visit Rome.

I stayed for the 2nd time in this hotel and I liked it still more than the 1st time. Excellent location, very quiet rooms without any noise from the street. Very clean rooms and excellent quality of the bathroom linen.

Stayed one night. The hotel is extremely well located for exploring Rome city center. It is a basic, small hotel but yet, clean and functional for what is needed. There is a brand new laundromat twenty meters as you exit the hotel to the left. Breakfast was included, it was basic but enough to get you going through lunch. Our... More

As a front line employee of a well known, global hotel company I choose to stay at this hotel with my mum every time I have been to Rome. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is great & the hotel is always very clean. The hotel also has a very ethical approach to animals which I like. Fantastic location &... More
