A fantastic location between the Trevie Fountain and the Spanish Steps, also close to the Rome Metro line. The hotel is quite old in terms of its decoration and furnishing. However the bedroom was large, well lit, and airy and the bathroom was adequate although there were problems with water draining away from the shower/bath. Breakfast was poor - a... More

We stayed at this hotel 4 wonderful days whilst visiting as many Rome attractions as possible. First impression was disappointing as we didn't realise that you need to get the lift to reception and somebody had left the door open on another floor so we had to trek upstairs to send it downstairs for our luggage. However....the room was typically... More

The location of this hotel is really good, but overall we were very disappointed. Breakfast was in a very small area and the food choice was very limited. The beds were very hard, as we're the pillows!

What a pleasure this hotel is. The unusual entrance and quaint Victorian lift were just amazing. Friendly reception area, and check in was painless. Our room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very enjoyable. The hotel is situated in a very central area with walking distance to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. A very enjoyable experience.... More

Stayed in this quaint hotel for 3 nights whilst visiting Rome. From arrival to departure we were treated with friendliness and helpfulness from all staff that we came into contact with. Especial thanks go to the members of staff that made it possible for me stay in our room beyond check out time due to me being unwell. I would... More

+Very nice and big room. Sweet breakfast and very kind staff. I reccomend this hotel as a very good hotel in this price. 5mins from piazza di Spagna and VERY close to Fontana Di Trevi. Reception was almost 24/7 and really really kind! - We havent wifi in our room ( it says that internet is pay to use but... More

A very nice little boutique-ish hotel in the centre of Rome, walking distance to everything (within 30 min). Nice, spacious and clean rooms. Good breakfast and very friendly staff. Will recommend to my friends!

This hotel is situated in the centre of rome within walking distance of all the usual tourist destinations. This may not be the best hotel in Rome or the least expensive but the location is ideal. There is a Gelato shop opposite the entrance. The hotel reception is on the second floor accessed by a small very old lift (access... More

Good location breakfast was basic but adequate. Staff not that helpful when we arrived as we weren't given room we had booked when we asked to change lady wasn't at all helpful and said we couldn't as we had been in room.

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely little hotel which is perfectly situated for visiting all the major sights of Rome, which to our delight were all in easy walking distance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. The only slight problem was that (in early May) the air conditioning was not yet switched... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
