The room was exactly what I was looking for during my week in Rome. Clean & comfortable, my only grumble was the walls were either a bit thin or next doors TVs was very loud. There was also some very loud music played one night until late into the night, I'm not sure if this was from inside or outside... More

As the title says, it is decent but not special. A few drawbacks is the breakfast, which is not to be recommened, and the hotel can be quite noisy. Hearing something like a boiler when you are sleeping. The rest of the hotel is in comparision to the price OK. It is about a 5 minute walk from Metro station... More

I chose this hotel because of its closeness my area of business. The rates were right for me, the service was good, breakfast ok, the warmth of the room was right except two things; The bathroom was too tiny and there were no power sockets to use for my laptop.

Staff friendly, room clean, breakfast basic, in process of refurb so maybe better in future, the only real negative was our room was above the bar next door which was loud to say the least with people noise from the street until 4-5am, probably not go again but it was good value and would suit younger people I think

This is a very basic but nice hotel close to Ostiense Train Station so it's convenient if you're arriving via train from the airport. It's about a 30 min. walk to central Rome. Rooms were clean and well maintained. It's not a place you would want to stay for a long time but fine for a stay for a couple... More

Small basic hotel, and clean. Handy for all public transport into Rome. Staff are very young and could do with some customer service training. There are quite a few eateries locally and reasonably priced.

Forget about a family hotel, forget about not so much noise, forget about reliable Web connection BUT welcome big clean room hotel, central, quiet road, lots of walking distance restaurants around and ancient style

It's a very nice and cheap hotel. Good quality for the price. It's not in the centre but it's very easy to reach it and everything because the hotel is close to the metro station where we can find a monument as well. The staff was very nice.

This is a good hotel value for money. Recent owners try to innovate and change the bad image of the hotel. The location of the hotel, not the best but ideal. Around the hotel there are lots of non-touristic great restaurants, cafes and ice-cream shops. It is 10 minutes walking distance to the nearest metro station. But there is a... More

Staying in Testaccio

Neighborhood Profile
Testaccio
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighborhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
