The place is quite near to the Roma Termini railway station. Location is convenient for back packers. Just a small breakfast. No Air conditioning with pedestal fan and small room and toilet. But at the rate of 40Euros per night was not justified for this facility.

I never write reviews, but I would like to give an honest view of this place as a warning that I wished I had beforehand. We booked this B&B despite some negative reviews, thinking it would not be so bad. Upon arrival, we were advised we had to pay a tourist tax that was DOUBLE every B&B we stayed at... More

Before to book I also read these opinions and now I want to tell my one. I don't know in what hothouse conditions there live those people which tell that this is dangerous place. Calm down! Yes, it near to station. Yes, there are usual local guys.Which peacefully hang out. So what? We had a room on the ground floor... More

Excellent price-quaility ratio. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very near of termini station - about 100 meters and city center. Breakfast in to the bed. Wi-fi free. Smaller room, but for this price is it so OK.

This bb (or someone working for them) writes fake positive reviews about itself on the internet! We stayed in this place a couple of years ago and it was quite horrible experience, nothing we expected after reading some reviews. When we got back home and tried to write an honest review on the site where the booking had been originally... More

We stayed in Pitagora for two nights in August 2014. The room was very basic and clean. The advantage of this place is its cheap, less than 5 min walk to Termini station (train, metro and bus to the airport) and alot of shops and halal restaurant nearby. Breakfast was simple, a croissant from the store and little cup of... More

Horrible experience, end of october for 5 nights - it's felt like real big Rip off. The room is poor quality. End of october and the heating was not working, the room was not clean by the staff at all during our stay, and was already dirty the first day. This is flat with 5 rooms and the small wooden... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
