It's a great location to visit the Albano lake. The roons are enormous, superbly decorated, very well equipped. Breakfast is sumptuous. Walter, the receptionist, was outstanding, offering a caring service and spared no effort to make our stay pleasant. A lovely pool is a great bonus.

My girlfriend & i stayed here for one night while travelling around Italy, we wish we had stayed for longer! We stayed here for one night in March during our travels in the Castelli Romani., The room was large, overlooking the pool (which was not open), wifi, fridge, strange long and narrow bathroom with shower, large parking area, no restaurant, and breakfast in the room. I visited Marino for a wedding in July, where the bride made accommodations at this hotel. The first thing you notice is the stunning view of Lake Albano from the hotel entrance! This hotel is great as a base for touring the area and also for relaxing. Far enough from Rome for peace and quiet but close enough to see all the sites. we stayed here for 2 nights and the service was atrocious. the hotel is situated on a hill between Castel Gandolfo and Marino overlooking the lake - marvellous view (get a room with a view).
