This little hotel is great value considering the price. It is Located close to via Cola di rienzo which is a good street for shopping/cafes/restaurants and also near the vatican. Its around 500m to the lepanto Metro station aswell! The staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfast is the only part that is not so good.

When I first arrived in Europe, my first stop was Rome, I wanted to order a transfer from the hotel as I didn't know my way around yet, they organized one for us last minute, that was much cheaper then a taxi fair would be from the da Vinci airport in Rome. The room was clean and themed into a... More

Very clean and comfortable room. The staff was all very friendly and recommended restaurants and transportation routes to us. The breakfast buffet only costs 6.50 € and has tons of options. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Rome

As advertised the room is exactly 500 m from the SIT bus stop from Rome FCO airport. This is also the first stop for these buses. We weren't planning to stay here but booked this last minute since our flights were delayed and B&B we booked didn't allow late night checkin. The room here are very tiny but has all... More

We had a great stay at Hotel Colors! The location was great, not a loud busy part of the city but close enough to walk to the action. Very short walk to the Vatican and just an hour walk to the Colosseum. The staff was extremely helpful in pointing us to the sites we wanted to see and how to... More

The 'Colors hotel' is 100% amazing! It is very comfortable and has a good location. The staff is great, especially at reception and the woman who is responsible for breakfasts, which are by the way very nice! The room and bathroom were very clean and we could enjoy our evenings at the terrace. We had a small fridge with free... More

The hostel is very well located, only a few minutes walk to the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. It's very clean and the staff very nice and helpful. My biggest concern (shared by everyone in my room at least) is the complete lack of lockers. There's nowhere to leave your valuables. The dorms door have only 1 key, so first person... More

This place had more of a hostel feel to it than a hotel. We were in room 9, which was stuck in the middle of the stairs and the breakfast / common room so it was constantly noisy, it was right by reception as well, people didn't keep the noise down and we saw no effort from the staff to... More

I have stayed in this hotel for 8 nights in may. The reasons for me to choose this hotel were its location close to metro, its colorful rooms and its terrace. It has no central location, but it is in 10-15 min. walking distance from the metro. The location is also nice considering being away from tourist crowds, but also... More

Hello, thank you for writing your opinion on the hotel. It is always useful for us in order to improve our service. We would also like to underline some points of the description you gave. Starting from the hotel's position. It is true that it's 10/15 minutes walk from the metro but it is also only 5 minutes walk to... More

Unless you’re on a tight budget, you might want to spend another 20€ on a more comfortable place. To be fair, there are good things about Colors. The staff is excellent, and very helpful both over email and in person. The location is strategic, if you prefer to escape the noise and tourist scrum of Centro Storico: a 10 minute... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
