Luciano warmly greeted us at the door upon our arrival and proceeded to review our 4 day itinerary to make sure everything looked OK. He even suggested we had enough time for a day trip to Pompeii which we never thought we would be able to do. He also suggested 2 nice restaurants during our stay that were reasonably priced... more

We arrived in Rome after a Med. cruise ready (we thought) for a four day rest before starting the long journey home. But, within minutes of arrivial at the B&B and hearing Luciano's enthusiastic introduction to his house and his city, we were energized and ready to go. He is the epitome of the perfect host - informative (his sketch... more

My partner and I had a very enjoyable weekend at Lucciano's place. Perfect, perfect location. Beautiful 16th Century apartment with family antiques and paintings. A more beautiful room than most hotel rooms at three times/price. Lucciano was lovely--a true roman character. Next time I want to rent lucciano's apartment but I should have kept that to myself--I might have trouble... more

My husband and I stayed a week with Luciano and loved every minute. He is warm, helpful and definitely a people person. The room was lovely, filled with family antiques and we were supplied with our own library of travel books and maps, a roomy closet and large bed. The location was perfect for us- right near everything in the... more

This is in a ridiculously perfect location. Luciano upgraded us to a one-bedroom apartment around the corner from our house. We never saw the room we had actually booked. He is exceedingly friendly and welcoming. You can trust his maps and restaurant recommendations. more

My husband and I traveled to Rome for 4 days to begin a 2-month trek through Europe and Africa. We actually stayed in an apartment around the corner from Luciano's house that he rents out for a friend. From the moment we arrived, we felt like family. He showed us the apartment, had a bottle of water waiting for us,... more

We stayed at Luciano's for 4 nights in September, prior to travelling onto Sorrento. Luciano is a marvellous host and gave us excelent advice during our stay, saving both time and money. He is also very friendly and likes to chat in the mornings and in the evening whenever he is available. The location of the bed and breakfast is... more

Initially let down that Luciano was booked for our 5 days in Rome this summer, our disappointment turned to complete and total satisfaction upon arrival. Luciano booked us at his brother-in-law Andrea's B&B on the Corso Vittorio Em. II, a 300 year old apartment building about 1/4 mile from the Castel Sant'Angelo. We couldn't be more thankful. Pre-trip - Luciano... more

We spent 4 days at Luciano's B&B following our cruise of the Mediterranean. From the moment we arrived at his apartment, Luciano was a most caring and helpful host. He explained, advised, and made suggestions to make our short visit in Rome the best it could possibly be. We enjoyed chatting with him at breakfast and sometimes in the afternoon... more

Unfortunately we couldn't stay in the B&B as it was booked but did stay in the apartment he had nearby. Luciano was extremly helpful with picking us up at the station and lots of advice (even if to out own misfotune we didn't always listen to it), ordering tickets etc. Overall we'd definately stay again, but next time in the... more
