II stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in March 2009 as part of an Insight vacations tour. I put money in the safe which was located in the hotel room, the safe has a combination lock. When we checked the safe we found that cash was missing (750 Euros). The hotel staff including the duty manager did not give... more

We stayed with them as a part of an Insight tour. Oh my, words will fail to describe how much I disliked this place, it's neighborhood, but I'll try. While Paris gets a bad rap about being dirty, as of my last visit in Oct 08, it's undeserved, while Rome, the "Eternal City" where it's citizens dress so nicely, have... more

arrived there on the 25th november, the hotel is in a very "ordinary" part of town about 2km walk from the main station. something you wouldn,t do at night. when we were ready for bed pulled the bed covers back to find a large bug running across the bed sheet and lava eggs under the pillow. the hotel staff were... more

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as part of a Trafalgar tour. Our room was on the ground floor so had french doors out to a very private patio - nice to sit out in the evening. The room itself was very comfortable, clean and with a full bathroom with tub. Others were not so lucky having only... more

A very basic hotel. Nothing fancy and not located in the best area of the city. Somewhat inconvenient to get around to the main tourist sites in Rome. Some rooms have a tub/shower while some have only a very tiny shower. AIr conditioning is a joke. We complained each day and were told each day that is was being worked... more

My wife and I stayed for two nights in Room 310 at the Ateneo Garden Palace Hotel with Trafalgar Tours. It is located about 20 minutes walk from Termini train station. The room and bathroom exceeded our expectations because they were reasonably large (see photo), it appeared to be freshly renovated, and it overlooked the garden, so it was quiet... more

We stayed in this little hotel for three days prior to a 12 night Eastern Mediterranean Cruise. It was a lovely hotel in a quiet Rome neighborhood. Walking distance to Termini Station, and not a bad walk to historic sites in Central Historic District. Close to ancient Rome city wall. It had lovely rooms, very nice bathrooms. Many rooms overlook... more

The lobby and garden space is attractive and the room was basically clean and fine. But it looks like they had some MBA review how to save a few pennies. No tissues in room, and none available. Air conditioning not on despite warm weather, so sleeping with a door open to a public courtyard is the only way to keep... more

This hotel is high in contrasts... The people running the hotel during the day are nice and friendly but they don't have clue. Don't expect to obtain any reliable information from them. The guy in charge of the hotel during the night does not speak English, so much for a four-star international hotel. Room: The room is spacious, the ceiling... more
