It's a nice property, not to far from the city center, but I think during summer with swimming pool and open air is the best moment to enjoy it. All my family was enjoying. I like the breakfast on the top floor. Of course the best option is to have a car, or be along with group with a coach.

Now, where should we start? First thing first, this is not - and let me repeat, this is not: in Rome. It's far outside of the city center, and it's the definition of "in the middle of nowhere". Our experience is that people located around this hotel, doesn't eat or use common community services. They are walking around like empty... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments that are giving us the opportunity to highlight this part of Rome. The Hotel Petra is located in a residential area, very quiet and peaceful, it is not the city center and nobody ever said or wrote it is. The location, distances etc. etc., can be easily seen before booking the hotel with... More

My husband not being home in 10 years And I had planned his homecoming starting by arriving in Rome. Met by his Zia who made the reservations we headed out into the middle of no where. Miles from any walking place we were stuck in this hell hole. First the advertised rate is [--] we were charged outstanding amounts followed... More

Positive: My stay at Petra was pleasant, the rooms were clean, well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast is served on the top floor with a nice view and it has a great variety of fruits, cakes etc.The swimming pool is clean and open until 20h. Negative: the location! far from Rome, transports are difficult (1 bus every 40 minutes) and then... More

The service of the reception staff is great. W've got the top appartment after we asked for a bigger room with two children. The pool is nice after another hot walking day in historic Roma: and playing football at the court next made my boys happy.

We came in late the night of and needed some accommodations made to our original plans. The front desk clerk was more than accommodating; he was an immense help and saved us so much trouble. Talk about customer service! The hotel itself is modern and neat, with great facilities and very nice rooms. While we didn't visit the swimming pool,... More

We were told this hotel was a 4-star hotel but It was more of a 2-star. The pool was great and our waitress in the dining room was nice. The Internet didn't work after the first day and we were told the shuttle was free but wasn't. Also, our room was on the warm side and the garbage can in... More

We stayed overnight, prior to flying back to the uk. The hotel had a party on the night we were there, the music was very loud. It went on throughout the night preventing much sleep. Not sure if was bad luck or if weekends are perhaps a time when the hotel books parties for non guests. The pool was closed,... More

We are regular customers at Petra Hotel for already a year, and we are planning on coming back again. The place is definitely not central, but it has great location right nearby the Grande Raccordo Anulare, so it's easy to reach the city center, and it has a bus stop right in front, where you can take a bus to...
