If you want a cheap place where you just want to sleep and shower, then this is the best place! Good value for Money! Especially the staff were really friendly, respectful and helpful. We mainly choosed this Hotel because it is located approx. 5 min from Termini, the railway Station. In the next building, there is a well-visited italian restaurant... More

We stayed in a family room that was large and had a good sized bathroom. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful with questions, directions, recommendations, etc. The location was close to restaurants, Termini Station, shopping, etc. but still quiet and safe. Good value for money and a great option for a family with teenagers.

The good: 5 min walk to the central station. A/C works reasonably well. Ceiling fan very powerful. Clean. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in shower, easy to set desired water temperature. Helpful and friendly receptionists. Nice towels and crisp sheets. Matching furniture. Nicely tiled floor and bathroom (very dark). Bad: Safe does not work. Wallpaper in terrible condition: ripped in... More

Very conveniently loceted close to the Termjni station. Just get the bus from the airport (5eur) and walk literally 3min. Many good restaurants around (I recommend Tomoko Tudini, next block from tge hotel, 1 min walking). Hotel doesn't have its own, but you really don't need that, uless you prefer room service. Our room was quite small, but clean, comfortable,... More

My friend and I needed a hotel near Termini Station for one night and picked Sweet Home. What a pleasant surprise!: This small hotel was incredibly near to the station and was spotless and comfortable. Bruno, the manager, went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He allowed us to store our luggage, as we arrived early from... More

OK I finally found the details to this place where my family stayed before returning to UK. I promised the the gentleman at the desk that I would leave a review (now two years late). Location is convenient to the rail station, shops and restaurants. Accommodation was modest but a good price for a room for a family of four.... More

This place is pretty great! Bruno and his staff were awesome and super friendly. We stayed in a triple room which was small, but fine for what we wanted it for. If we wanted more space we could've gotten two rooms. My bed was comfy and the aircon worked really well which was good because it was quite warm when... More

We stayed here last week for two nights, a family of two adults and three children in a quintuplet room. Accomodation was comfortable and clean. Bruno and Franco were very helpful, welcoming and curteous both while we stayed and answering my many emails before we arrived. They booked taxi to the airport for us and also looked after our bus... Stayed one night only, very accommodating with airport transfer service. Clean rooms and a pleasant welcome from the staff. Hotel is on a quiet street but still very close to the train station which suited us perfectly. Recommended !

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
