We have recently spent three nights at the Church Palace hotel and after reading through the reviews were a little anxious as to what to expect. Firstly we were amazed with the gardens in front of the hotel and its quiet location. It was 10 minutes walk from the metro - cornelia, turning right at the mcdonalds on the corner,... More

Spent 3 nights here with my wife for our first trip to Rome. This is a beautiful building set amongst its own grounds and is accessed via a small tree lined private road, which feels very grande. The Cornelia Metro is a 2 minute walk so this is a very well situated hotel. The airport access is very good. The... More

I would highly recommend this hotel! We arrived very late at 1.30am and there was someone waiting to check us in. The room was a good size and clean. Bathroom also clean and well maintained. All the staff members were very pleasant. I would say this hotel is a very safe bet very close to the vatican and also not... More

Read a few mixed reviews about this hotel before I booked it, and having returned from our short stay the overall impression is excellent. Arrived mid afternoon in a taxi and the hotel is situated at the end of a long tree lined drive. The hotel itself is quite an imposing building, and inside with high ceilings. From the start... More

We stayed there about 3 weeks ago for 2 nights. First impression was how lovely. But when we enter our room the side table was dirty. I could hear everything that was happening in the next room. The walls were paper thin. The free wifi was in public areas only but the signal was weak.

Recently back from a trip to Rome with my fiancé and we had a great time. Read so many negative reviews about this hotel and I accept we all have our opinion but I cannot fault the hotel or staff. The hotel is a very grand building in lovely garden surrounding. As for the staff nothing was an issue and... More

We stayed at the Church Palace Hotel for four nights during the first week of August to visit Rome and to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The hotel is stylish and peaceful, and very impressive. I was slightly worried about one or two negative reviews about refurbishment work that I had read online before our visit, but I'm happy to... I stayed here for a weekend along with my friend and her 2 daughters, her daughter had booked it online for her 30th birthday. I can safely say that we were all very impressed. The Church Palace building is beautiful and set in it,s own peaceful grounds. It still has the atmosphere, I feel, of the convent that it used... More

I recently stayed at this brilliant hotel when I booked it as a deal online. I did look at Trip Advisor through the reviews and although I saw some great reviews the particularly negative ones scared me a little. COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG! Whenever my friend and I needed help (which with the facilities we barely needed) the... More
