I recently stayed at this hotel as part of a Riviera escorted tour. It was described as being 4star, but felt a lot nearer to 2stars. There was no restaurant, apart from breakfast and snacks. My room overlooked the hotels rubbish bins, which were emptied at around 5.30 each day. It wa small and poorly fitted, the bathroom was mouldy.... More

I very recently stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with family in a triple room. The triple room had a double bed and then a single camping bed - not ideal. The beds are comfortable to an extent but the mattresses are very hard. The rooms are basic with no tea or coffee facilities in the room (if you... More

Hotel is lovely, reception areas are lovely and well kept, rooms are very small, hotel is not in the centre of town subway is a short walk away and it will bring you to all major sites, few restaurants and shops near by, nice hotel.

I visited Rome recently with my family and we decided to stay at the church palace. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception and lobby looked exactly as seen in pictures grand and modern. However when we got to the bedroom it was a different story. The rooms are very dated and basic definitely not up to 4 star... More

We stayed at this 4* hotel for three nights in September on a trip to Rome. Our room (014) was on the left side of ground floor toward the rear of the hotel. Room The room was small and very, very shabby. It contained a double bed, one dining-style chair, and two shelves. There was a small television on the... More

We booked this hotel through British Airways website and had looked at reviews on trip advisor beforehand. All comments about the hotel seemed to be good apart from the uncleanliness of the showers which I have to admit is true. The showers definitely need a good cleaning. The shower head was disgustingly dirty to the point of being unhygienic. However,... More

During our three day stay in mid September 2014 this hotel was "re-opened" after extensive refurbishment and now has some wonderful decor. But The doors to the rooms are very thin and outside noises from the carpet less corridors easily come in. The door pulls are too close to the door frame and two of my party both caught fingers... I stayed at this hotel in August 2014 which is the hottest month in Rome when quite a lot of Romans leave the city for an extended vacation to cooler locales. Not sure how this impacted my observations as this was my first visit to Rome and/or Italy. I stayed in a Classic class room. The hotel was a short... More
