This hotel looks beautiful from the outside, and when you enter, it appears extravagant: the lobby and hotel bar are beautiful, highly polished marble. However once you leave the first floor, and head up to the 4th (top) floor, it has turned into an ugly stained carpet nightmare. We had an economy room in early May - one of the... More

Great, great and nothing less than it. No problems with early check in. Rooms are large, modern so you can really feel that you are staying in 5 star hotel instead of 4 star. This hotel probably has the best breakfast table off all hotels I have vsited

The communal areas are stunning, the concierge, Leo, was outstanding, 5 star customer service, he even organised our airport transfers, other staff members do their upmost to accommodate your wishes, I'm a fussy eater and the restaurant manager was happy to organize evening meals not on the menu as long as ingredients were available, rooms was a good size, my... Loved it. Stayed for 4 nights and it was wonderful! So close to the metro also which is helpful and very easy to navigate. Good breakfast, great character and the grand church is jaw dropping. Loved the wee courtyard in the centre of the hotel.

The asthetics of this hotel are gorgeous. It is very regal. Even the hotel grounds are gorgeous. The rooms are pretty small though and the beds very very hard. I was displeased with the stained porcelain in the bathroom. Rooms need updating.

Unfortunately It Would Appear All The Time & Effort Was Applied To Making Public Areas Of The Hotel Fantastic; Reception, Bar, Smoking Area & Breakfast Hall Are All Very Grand Looking & Give The Impression Of An Amazing Hotel.... However After Collection Your Room Key & Voyaging Through The Back Hallways You Soon Start To Notice A Travel Lodge Basic... More

Stayed with my girlfriend for 3 nights end of April: Hotel grounds, exterior, common areas - nice Room - small, dated, no plugs, broken shower. Was more like student accommodation! Very very noisey! Location - ok it's easy to get the metro but you have to get across a very dangerous busy road (we almost got run over twice crossing... More

Stayed here for two nights, glad it wasn't more. Room extremely small the bed just about fit in the room. Bed was very uncomfortable. Took me 10 minutes to figure out how to turn on the lights. Don't waste your money staying here.

I recently just got back from a three day stay at The Church Palace and all I can say is what a fabulous stay! It was my boyfriend and I's first trip to Rome and this hotel did not disappoint. It's in a good location, very near to the metro and a few stops away from the main tourist attractions.... More
