We booked this hotel through Thomas Cook for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. 5 days bed and breakfast with hotel transfers. The gates into the hotel grounds lead to a 200 metre tree lined road that sets the scene for the hotel. The Concierge was welcoming, speaking good English, the Reception area has high ceilings with a Grand feeling about it... More

The room was a lot smaller than it looked on the hotel website, but it was clean and the bed was massive. No bath (which would have been nice after a long slog around the streets of Rome) and no tea or coffee making facilities in the room (again, this would have been nice). The metro station is a short... More

We stayed here for two nights. We booked the cheapest room which was the economy attic room for €82 per night, breakfast included. I was a little worried about this place having read the reviews about the rooms on level 4. I think people forget that if they purchase the cheapest room in a four star hotel then it's not... More

Being my first visit to the city with great history behind it. I had a a bit of a confusion whether to book the hotel in It was my first time in Rome and i didn't know if it was a good idea to book an hotel near the famous squares that you can find in the centre of Rome... More

My favourite thing about this hotel was actually the cappuccino machine at breakfast, which I greeted with a smile each morning and bade a sad arrivedirci upon departure. Besides that, my room was comfortable, attractive and pretty spacious. Staff were a mixture of friendly and curmudgeonly, in the usual Roman way. Beautiful grounds. Air conditioning was broken in the main... More

I think that the church palace is almost a 5 star hotel . Who choose this hotel is because want to have a full immersion in the great beauty that this city has to offer . A trip of architecture beautyness and flavors that is difficult to forget. I can see the passion of staff which is involved in the... More

We recently stayed at The Church Palace whilst on holiday in Umbria. We booked the night before and paid just £62 for 2 adults, 2 children with breakfast and parking included. The outside of the hotel is beautiful, as is the lobby area, however, we were unsure of what to expect of our room. Our room was on the 4th... More

Mold, holes on the walls, and horrible staff. Mold is visible in all the bedrooms, just look in the shower or around the air conditioner. Oh, and the horrible patching of holes on the walls, all over the hallways and the door to the bathroom has multiple holes from prior knobs used. The staff acts as if their hotel were... More

We stayed at the CP in early August 2015. It was part of a cruise deal with 2 nights at the CP then 7 nights on the Queen Victoria. We were quite looking forward to the hotel, since its website made it look very grand. Reality was, however, somewhat different - the room was tiny and very spartan, not helped... More

It has a beautiful garden area. It has a modern designed lobby in a historical building. Room is poorly designed and old. Air con is behind the curtain. When the curtain is closed, air con is blocked. Its also difficult to find a place to write either in the room or in common area. Best place is in the out door... More
