The hotel is very comfortable and offers a quiet environment since the hotel itself is located deep inside the rear area busy main road. Just to get to the main road once you are outside the hotel doors you have to take a 10-15 minute walk. The interior of the hotel is actually very chic and trendy with granite or... More

The Church Hotel has been remodeled recently. The hotel and the rooms are immaculate. However, there are several types of rooms available. The bathroom is spacious with just a small shower stall. Some of our travelling companions complained that they only had a small curtain in the shower that did not contain the water. We had a glass door on... More

Great hotel at reasonable distance of downtown Rome/Vatican city; the common areas are beatitude and well maintained but the rooms are very small and, as expected from the place's history, non-luxurious.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a travel package to Rome. The first impressions were extremely high. The common areas are beyond lovely and the staff was very helpful. Then we saw our room. Shabbily appointed, complete with cracks zigzagging every wall surface. The hotel definitely needs an update and should focus on appointing the rooms as nicely... More

We stayed here as a long weekend. The staff were fantastic, great food and perfect location for seeing Rome. Good value and beautiful settings. Idyllic considering it's off a main road. You really wouldn't know. Easy access to go sightseeing.

Presently staying at the Church Palace. This is a large business based hotel, with huge conference facilities which are used prolifically. My overall impression is it's all singing and dancing when it comes to appearance, though if one digs deeper little things in its showcase lets it down. For example, the rooms although very clean and maintained by the house... More

We visited Rome for three days from Sunday 1st March 2015 and stayed at The Church Palace Hotel in Via Aurelia. The hotel is most impressive upon approach and in the Main areas lives up to this first impression however the bedroom we were allocated was showing signs of tiredness in the decoration and furnishing. However its fair to say... More

I stayed here on my own for one night and two nights as part of a tour. Staff were wonderful. Very helpful and assisting in changing rooms to begin the tour. On the outside the hotel is really nice. A tree lined street leading to the hotel and the lobby and bar areas are very nice. It really looks nice.... More

This hotel looks grand from the outside, and even the public areas are nice, but the rooms are small, shabby and incredibly noisy. The corridors echo so people coming back late wake you up and the walls are wafer thin. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Dear Kent H, Thank you for taking time to let us have your impressions about our hotel, although your experience wasn’t so good as you expected. I'm pleased to inform you that we have already started a general renovation of the hotel that aims to improve the quality of the stay. We would be glad to welcoming you back and... More

We stayed here for four nights and enjoyed the hotel despite at the time it was going through a refurbishment. Room was nice clean large bathroom and duel aspect. Breakfast had plenty of choice. The courtyard restaurant area was a delight to sit in. Close to metro so easy access to city and all it has to offer. Some great... More
