Stayed there with a couple of friends and found an efficient and helpful staff and decent and well serviced accomodation (although we would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room). Breakfast was comprehensive and provided for all tastes (and levels of appetite). Suburban, but quite handy for the Old City via the Metro which is close by... More

We stayed at The Church Palace for 5 nights. Please think twice before you stay at this hotel. The grounds to the hotel and reception / bar entrance area are deceiving as it does not reflect the same standards in the room. Our room was dirty, dusty and the bathroom was very tatty and run down. I have no idea... More

This was a great place for myself and two girlfriends to share. Rooms are very small. but not in them very much....so ok. Took bus to downtown. Very close and short distance. Took cab home and think was 25 euro. For the cost...it was good. It looks like a huge convention center. Must have a lot of bus tours. Drinks... More

The front is impressive and rooms are fine but the breakfast was horrible - watery eggs, cold bacon sitting in its own grease, rock hard bread obviously not made on site. The location is also a bit odd - fine if you are in a coach party but not so great if not. Overall it's nice to look at but... More

We have stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in October 2014, its not a 4 stars hotel as it has been described but I would give it a poor 2. Apart from big and comfortable bed there was nothing positive about it. The bathroom was dirty( lime scale around the sink and taps, shower mouldy, dust everywhere , but... More

I recently stayed at this hotel as part of a Riviera escorted tour. It was described as being 4star, but felt a lot nearer to 2stars. There was no restaurant, apart from breakfast and snacks. My room overlooked the hotels rubbish bins, which were emptied at around 5.30 each day. It wa small and poorly fitted, the bathroom was mouldy.... More

I very recently stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with family in a triple room. The triple room had a double bed and then a single camping bed - not ideal. The beds are comfortable to an extent but the mattresses are very hard. The rooms are basic with no tea or coffee facilities in the room (if you... More

Hotel is lovely, reception areas are lovely and well kept, rooms are very small, hotel is not in the centre of town subway is a short walk away and it will bring you to all major sites, few restaurants and shops near by, nice hotel.

I visited Rome recently with my family and we decided to stay at the church palace. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception and lobby looked exactly as seen in pictures grand and modern. However when we got to the bedroom it was a different story. The rooms are very dated and basic definitely not up to 4 star... More

We stayed at this 4* hotel for three nights in September on a trip to Rome. Our room (014) was on the left side of ground floor toward the rear of the hotel. Room The room was small and very, very shabby. It contained a double bed, one dining-style chair, and two shelves. There was a small television on the... More
