We stayed here in May 2012 for 2 nights. The rooms are small but comfortable. Does not have any view from the window and no natural light. The bathroom was big and clean. The location is superb as just opposite the Termini train station. Easy access to many restaurants. The buffet breakfast was good with enough variety.I suggest to go a bit early... More

This was my third stay at Hotel Madison and again I was happy with my stay. The location is perfect for central Rome and again I found a clean and comfortable room awaiting me. I stayed for 2 nights this time and as before I would still recommend Madison as a good priced central option for Rome.

Pro: After a 5-nights-stay, I can tell a decent hotel. Breakfast great, and although it's from 7-10 am, they are refilling even after 10, if there are people there. Location - great! Contra: doesn't have WiFi, if you want to buy it - high price. I asked the receptionist to check some flight details on his PC there, he said... More

We went to there with tour group and we stayed there for 3 nights. Completely during in our stay there is no kind staff, no one speak any english, no one not trying to help us. Rooms are so small and towels really old. No lobby and restaurant and breakfast awful. They serve just bread, croissant, butter and jam. Cups... More

This hotel has people not fun working there. The tax extra, pay because have a law, is illegally no have a receipt. In other words, you pay, but the hotel can don't pay. The hotel is older and not well mantened.

Reading a few of the bad reviews on here I feel it is a little unfair. If you book this hotel, you are not booking some 5* accomodation so shouldn't be expecting such! I travelled with a friend for a long weekend in Rome and the hotel was perfect for a sight-seeing-filled holiday. The hotel staff were quite friendly and... More

As previous reviews: "Location is great but..." be prepared for: Same bad breakfast (salami and bad breads) every day. Shower that tests your faith i.e. you have to believe that the water temperature will not vary drastically...it's very bad...one minute boiling water and another ice cold... The services and actions from the reception desk is terrible, bad humor, no patience,... More
