Top & Innovative Hotel. The location is great. We booked a Classic Suite, that I highly recommend. We could not take the advantage of the breakfast in fact we had to check out very early, so they prepared a breakfast to go. Furthermore you can enjoy a complimentary aperitiv bar before dinner. This is a good option for families. The four person room easily accomodated us comfortably. The staff is ever present, but don't expect a typical hotel experience. This is more like a serviced apartment, although without a kitchen. The breakfast is good, wifi is strong, and can't beat the location. Restaurants and supermarkets nearby. One thing is that because of... More

First night at SCS. So far not so good. Room is clean and location good, however: - weird check in via skype link - Plastic cover on the mattress is wrong - why no pillows? Little hope for breakfast. Would avoid and spend a few extra penny's elsewhere.

Absolutely loved this hotel! It was my first time to Rome and the location alone was fantastic, shops right on your door step with the Spanish Steps 5 min walk away. Taxi area across the road from the hotel and only cost around 8/9 euro in each direction we went (coliseum, Vatican City, trevi fountain) Staff was friendly arranged a... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great - a little street noise but it didn't bother us. Really easy to get to all the attractions from the hotel. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Rome. The only thing that we thought was strange was the virtual reception - a bit weird but it... More

Very well located. Service is very nice. Great breakfast. We will come back for sure! Jaccuzi in room is unique and no noise from the street in the hotel. Note also the fact that this is a very discret place. Enjoy !

I chose to stay at San Carlo Suite based on the online photos and location. It was my first time to Rome and I am so glad I stayed there. If you love to shop, this is the perfect location with many places to eat as well as walking distance to everything. The property is small but very clean and... More

We stayed for 2 nights at San Carlo Suite. And it was one of the best all rounder hotel that i have stayed in. This is a boutique hotel and its small and intimate which was nice. Do not expect but hotel chain services and breakfast. Breakfast spread was considered good for a small hotel. The whole place was ultra... More

San Carlo Suite is right on the shopping street of Rome, and is of walking distance to a lot of sight-seeing places such as the Trevi Fountain, Piazza del Popolo and Pantheon. At night you can easily walk to many Italian restaurants near by. Our butler was extremely helpful and polite the whole time my mom and I were there.... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
