A romantic tasteful place to stay in the center of Rome, close to the shopping facilities, restaurants and of course most outdoor activities, especially when you visit Rome for the first time. A nice concept for people who don't like to stay in a crowded big hotel: it felt like having our own apartment in Rome. Everything is clean and... More

I booked this hotel by mistake. I thought that I was booking Hotel San Carlo where we stayed the last time that we were in Rome. There is no receptionist at this hotel, only a virtual (TV) monitor. You can reach the reception by phone, but they do not always answer. I had to call several times before I reached... More

I don't think you can get a better location room or service for the price in Rome. We had the Royal Suite, over looking Via Del Corso. It is large by European standards, with 2 additional day beds so there was plenty of space to stack the shopping. It has a little desk and a luggage rack as well as... More

We booked in a room in hotel Giglio d'oro near the Piazza Navona. Seemed that we had booked on the San Carlo suite, which was NEVER the intention. The booking website is not clear (whatever they say) and if we had known this we would not have booked the San Carlo Suite. It was for our honneymoon and my wife... More

The San Carlo Suite is in a great location in the heart of shopping between Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo. It is well-designed and modern, with good sunlight. Rooms probably about average size for Rome. What is interesting is that is is basically a 3-bedroom apartment, in an apartment building, and each room is one of the bedrooms. They... More

I enjoyed my stay at the San Carlo Suite. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is deal - directly in the centre of Rome within walking distance to the Colosseum, Pantheon, and a whole host of other landmarks and attractions. I will definitely stay here again.

Dear Ms. Sara, every comment from our Guests is important for us to improve our service and our experience. Unfortunately we have a different point of view about this situation and we would like to inform you about it: when you booked in our property, your reservation was made with the non-refundable rate. The hotel location is not what they are showing on the web site. We got 2 suites ,when we get to the main address,we had to go on a gulf card to the location taht our rooms were located. Imagine 3 people with suit cases in the middle of Rome streets on a guld card ?? The lift is small... More

Entering the building looking for a 3 Suites hotel made us curios. The lift was as in the exciting Movies from the fifties. Just like av jailhousecell. LIfting us up 3 floors shaking and noisy we came to a hoteldoor of glass. Our exitement increased, where were the reception, here, said the handsome employee. We stood there in a narrow... More
