I stayed in this hotel twice in recent years and can say for sure that will again stay there in future. location and breakfast are excellent, price is very very good for Rome, rooms are quite nice, service also on good level, would recommend as one of the best choice for any type of travelers.

Very well located, and we felt it was within walking distance of all main tourist sites and monuments (although we were happy to be walking 20,000+ steps in a day). There was a bus stop directly out the front that was able to take us to the Vatican and to Termini station (which is walking distance ... just, when you... More

Perfectly located to see Rome. In 4 days we walked to see 21 key landmarks, ate well, buses to Roma Termini & the Vatican from right outside the hotel. The lady who made breakfast was very pleasant and one of the gentlemen at the service desk was nice. The rest of the guys at the desk were pretty grumpy &... More

was very nice, the room only had one power point. the bed was comfortable, though pillows were quite hard however still good value for the price you pay. amazing location, with all the major sites no more than 20 minutes walk away the hotel is also only 20 minutes walk from Roma Termini, which is the main train station in... Stayed 4 nights mid January. Room 28. Has the feel of a renovated town house, on the 3rd floor of a city block. Room was warm, spacious, comfortable. Bathroom was fairly new, always cleaned. Some noise from next door rooms but not a problem. Breakfast is typical Italian, bread roll, croissant, coffee. Cereals also available. Reception staff 24/7, helpful and... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in December. Can't complain for the price you pay - great location. Rooms are very dark and bed/pillows are not comfortable. The shower could have done with a good clean but we got fresh towels every day and a clean bathroom other than around the shower. Rooms were quite hot, even in December, and you... More

We stayed here Feb 2014, location is 1st class with most sights well within walking distance. Only concern would be traffic noise in the summer if the windows are open, that said we never had any problems. The hotel was great, its a budget hotel but very clean and friendly and for the price you couldn't ask for more. Your... More

stayed here this summer with my 2 friends, we are 22 years old, paid a very good price for this hotel. The hotel workers are very helpful and were very nice to us our entire stay. We had problems with the tv and heard noises in the middle of the night coming from the storage room and the concierge came... More

The hotel is located in a great place, near some of the bigger monuments of Rome. Colosseum, Palatino, Forum and Trevi Fountain are just a 15-20 minute walk. The main shopping street, Via Corso, is about 5 minutes away. Even Vatican City is doable, on a 40 minute walk, or just take the bus #64 that stops in front of... More

We were skeptical, as its a 2 star property but booked it as we had a long stay for 4 nights in Rome. But it turned out to be one of our best stays! its centrally located, close to all the touristy spots. Walkable to Piazza Venizia, Colosseum, Pantheon, etc... The rooms are neat & cozy, breakfast was good, cappuccino... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
