I thought this hotel was a great value for the money and the location by the subway was great. Even though it is not in the center it was a quick subway or cab ride away to get most places. The rooms are newly renovated and very nice. The only downside was that they were still remodeling the hotel so... more

Turned up at the hotel on the off chance that a room might be available - unfortunately we managed to get one. Despite the clean and modern appearance of the reception area, our room was filthy, with a layer of dust on the furniture and stains on the bed cover and carpet. The bathroom had a very small shower and... more

First of all. Friendly and nice staff and good cleaning. Breakfast: dont bother to get up in the morning. The hotel is actually next to a heavy traffic road, walk out from the lobby and straight into the traffic. The rooms are small, the bed are hard and the shower is very small in deed. The toilet is almost impossible... more

I was a bit nervous at when I first booked this hotel. When I arrived I was suprised. The receptionists are very helpful and pleasant plus they speak English. The room is basic but it is exactly what you expect to pay for, the shower is in the room so if you are shy and don't like people seeing you... more

The hotel is a bit far away from the centre, but very well connected with the metro to the centre. Note that the metro closes quite early in the evening though... Worth only two stars, not three, but in my opinion ok with the price. Very basic and a bit old. The room was small but clean and the staff... more

After reading some very poor reviews of this hotel we were a bit worried about staying there, however it was not as bad as a lot of people made out...... We were using the hotel as a place to sleep and get breakfast and nothing else, we planned to spend all of our time in Rome out and about and... more

Its not the best or the worst i have ever stayed in. its a long way out to walk, unless ure used to marathons!! 40mins to vatican. But on the other hand it does have a metro stop 5mins away. Wouldn't stay here again, too far out. Breakfast ok. but unconvienent for nipping back to. more

We were told this was a good standard of accommodation close to the centre of Rome. It was far from it. The hotel was no way a 3 star, it was dirty and tired. The room had thick dust visable all around the room. They brought clean towels every day and the bed seemed to be clean although hard and... more

Recently visited Rome and stayed for two nights in hotel Aurelius. Despite seeing some rather unsatifactory reports, we found this hotel to be ok. The rooms and beds were clean, allthough on arrival they did smell a little smokey, but after opening the window to let in fresh air and a little spray around with perfume the smell was soon... more

The rooms were cheap, thank goodness. Breakfast was just okay, cereal and bread. Staff was friendly. The hotel was not a 3 star, more like a one star. Toilet would only flush once every hour, beds hard, rooms were okay, shower needed new shower head. If you don't plan on using the room for anything but showering and sleeping, then... more
