5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2015

Me and my partner stayed at B&B Calamatta at the beginning of March and we certainly weren't disappointed. It is in a beautiful 1920's building and the room was clean, nice and cosy. The owner Valerio, was incredibly helpful. Giving us advice to help us make the most of our trip. He has a very good knowledge of Rome and... More

Location is brilliant, close to everything but very quite and peaceful. Valerio the manager went above and beyond to help us make the most of our holiday, his advice was superb and his local knowledge was invaluable. Would go back every time

Crazyly well situated in the very heart of Rome, we have been welcomed by sweet Valerio who treated us like king and queen on Valentine's week end. An excellent place with a wide bed and an italian shower ! Thanks so much Valerio for it also was our wedding anniversary !

We arrived on December 31st for the NYE in Rome on a super-last-minute flight. We had no room and as you can imagine it was not easy to find one for a reasonable price on this particular day :). Well, then we found Valerio and his B&B Calamatta. Valerio is such a welcoming, friendly and helpful host and he offered... More

We had booked and paid for a room in Calamatta a month in advance, and then reconfirmed the exact time of arrival in the afternoon four days in advance, which was then confirmed by the owner Valerio. When we arrived however, the owner had an excuse that the room was not ready yet because the staying guests had not yet... More

We had been there for christmas 2014. The location was perfect. We were close to everywhere. The room was really clear and quiet. But the best of all was the owner Valerio, who was really helpful providing us all the necessary information about the town of Rome. We felt like we were in our home. Perfect choice if someone wants... More

The room was clean and nice equipped. Stylish woods wardrobe and big, comfortable bed and big bathroom with towels and hairdryer. Room is also cleaned every day. You are also served with tasty coffee and nice outdoor-breakfast (especially if you like sweets because it is typical Italian breakfast - crossaint, cake and coffee and juice; for me could be more... This was our first trip to Rome and we made reservations on the fly based on reviews from Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. The location is located in a quiet area Rome within walking distance to everywhere. Valerio was great in helping us map out our tour of the city. it is located about a 15 minute walk... More

I spend three days in Roma, this hotel was the best choice I could have made. It is located very good, so you can reach every pace of interests but do not have tourism everywhere around. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel with some different lines. For example one start goes directly to the Colosseum and... More

This B&B has 3 rooms available. We stayed in a room for 2 people. It had a comfortable queen bed, coffee and tea options, a bathroom with a shower, one armoire with 10 hangars and two night tables with lamps. There is a shelf above the bed which you will need to use for clothing. There was also an area... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
