Biggest drawback was probably that the triple we got had no ac or fan. I can do without ac, but typically in that situation there is a fan, especially with how hot Rome can get in the Summer, so that was disappointing. The location is pretty close to Roma Termini and close to a lot of sites like the Colosseum... More

Stayed here for two nights in May 2014. It was a twin room with an ensuite. It was very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wi-fi available free. Breakfast was like a hostel type breakfast but I had no problems with anything. I would definitely recommend it as somewhere ecomonical to stay. Okay it doesn't have 4... More

I stayed there for a week in the begging of April, 2014 while being on a short-time training programme. It was a room for two with shared bathroom, it was really neat and clean everywhere. The staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was simple and healthy, especially fresh red orange juice. It's located not far from Termini, 20 min to... More

Im a teacher at a high school from Trieste, Italy. I took 45 of my students to Rome and we stayed here in the Foresteria for 3 nights. The place has a good location, 2.5km from the Colosseum (which is right next to most of the main attractions). You can cover the distance on foot if you like walking, but... More

I stay here often when visiting family. The rooms are impeccable. Clean and brand new. The staff is super friendly and of course passionate. It's Italy right? Don't speak Italian? No problem. David the "cabo" speaks the queens English while Mike, who runs the kitchen, speaks perfect New York. Ask for one of these guys of you don't understand. Is... More

I had a very enjoyable stay here in San Lorenzo. It is a lively area with lots of young people. There is a supermarket on the nearest corner, many wine bars and pizzerias and even a macrobiotic restaurant and store close by. It is a no frills place but the price reflects that, the staff are lovely and they also... More

Stayed in the single room w shared bath. Room and bath were clean and the building in general is very quiet. It was 20min walk from Termini. Personally, I found it difficult to meet other travelers because there was no common area to hand out. Otherwise, it was a good place to stay if you are just looking for a... More

I only stayed in the hotel for three days but it was a very pleasant stay. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. I can't think of anything to complain about. And of course the service was extremely polite. On my next trip to Rome I won't hesitate to stay there once again. In a word I can... More

We depart tomorrow, 26 Sept 2013, and would recommends this hotel. I stayed for almost 2 weeks at the Foresteria Roma. Located in the San Lorenzo neighborhood, it is just 3 blocks from via Tiburtina, where you can catch bus 71 that takes you to the Tiburtina Metro/Train station, or downtown on the other direction (bus stops at Largo Chigi, just off via del Corso, 2 blocks from the Fontana de...
