For someone who is making the Vatican and its museums, the centre of their holiday, then this is definitely the place to be. For Italy, the breakfast is extremely good. The staff where very helpful, considering we had 2 very elderly (and not very mobile) persons with us, and the place is very clean and well kept. The view of... More

This hotel is located right at the St Peters Square with wonderful location and view from the hotel restaurant and bar was amazing. If you want to spend time in Vatican and believe in luxury then go for this hotel. The hotel staff and all the services were spot on. Nothing to complain about.

This hotel is literally ten steps from St. Peters Square. It is a renovated monastery. Very quiet hotel - we never saw anyone else go in or out of their rooms, although the hotel was completely full. The rooms are small, but very clean and adequate. There is a beautiful outdoor terrace upstairs where food and drinks are served. It... More

My wife and I stayed here for four nights at the end of July ,this hotel is a great location for the Vatican what with it being just over the road ,also fantastic for Rome itself as everything is within a 30 minute walk. The hotel is very clean with great staff who all are very helpful and polite, breakfast... More

This hotel has high tec safety features which is comforting in this day and age. It is without doubt one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are quite small by international standards, however, one should remember that it was once a monestary. Everything is provided with the exception of a few more English speaking TV channels,... More

To be closer to St. Peter's Square you would have to be in it - the hotel is literally across the street from the square. Lovely rooftop terrace to sit and relax, and enjoy a drink, with wonderful view of the basilica. Within walking distance to other Rome attractions - we walked along cobblestone streets to the Pantheon in a... More

This hotel is perfect for those looking to visit the Vatican as it literally is footsteps away from St. Peter's square. To walk to all other tourist spots it is roughly about a half hours walk. The walks are beautiful so I highly recommend taking comfortable shoes and exploring the city on foot however there are regular buses. The room... More

Cannot say enough great things about this hotel. The Staff was great and spoke several languages and the location - WOW!!! Literally across the small street from St. Peter's Square. My mother & I stayed in a Deluxe Room and it was clean, comfortable and quite a good size. Being able to go up to the porch for drinks &... More

We stayed at this hidden gem of a hotel June 2014. The terrace is absolutely stunning giving a marvellous view of St Peter's Square and the Vatican. The breakfast is excellent, and in a lovely sunny room. Our room was on the lower floor and was fine but not particularly amazing but it did have air conditioning. The staff on... More

Sometimes it does not matter how clean, good, etc. a hotel is. This is such a case. The roof terrace (which now seems to be enlarged!) is really giving a full view on the St. Peters basilica and on the papal palace. This view is just unbeatable. Nice point is that this is the only hotel on Vatican extraterritorial area... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
... more   less
