Centrally located. Walking distance to all the sights and 5 minutes walk form the bus station. Lots of information and help from the staff. Comfortable, clean en suite room that was cleaned daily. PS Book from the hotels own website !

This hotel is a short walk from the station, and is actually on the first floor of a large building. The reception staff speak good English and were always helpful and friendly. The rooms were basic but clean.

We had a very nice stay at Hotel Giuliana. The staff was very friendly and the beds were comfortable. TripAdvisor want me to type some more words, so let me finish with saying the elevator in the hall was very cool and oldschool.

If you are looking for a very clean and centrally located hotel in Rome with great rates and very friendly and helpful staff, Hotel Giuliana is the place. The hotel is a short walk from Termini train station, and also close to the Metro. There is an elevator in the building. One more thing: breakfast is included and it is... More

We have recently returned from a 4 night stay at hotel Guiliana at the beginning of November and we were not disappointed. This small family run hotel is full of charm and character. The staff were always very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast had a great selection especially liked the fresh pastries and coffee. The... More

I recently stayed at Hotel Giuliana. I'm writing this review not only to share my experience, but to highlight somethings I would have liked to know prior to booking this hotel. I always read tripadvisor reviews when looking for hotels. Rome is not a cheap city, and I wanted to find a decent hotel and a decent price range. I... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your comments. However, I'd like to mention that there was no need for us to mention on our web that the Night Porter takes a rest of 3 hrs. after 2:30 a.m. as he is flexible and is willing to wait for anyone returning later. Also, the Morning Receptionist advises clients about it. The Hotel... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
