We had a really great stay here. The location is perfect as it is just a short walk from shops, center and restaurants but on a nice quiet road. The host Ali is great, he was really helpful and made us feel very welcome, giving lot's of advise of places to visit and how to get there. The room is... More

Stayed there with my husband in September for my birthday. Had a great time. Place is clean and pleasant. Ali is a great host and very friendly. I would recommend this b and b. Overall, the price is right and very fair value for what you get. Recommended to our friends

Small B&B on the third floor of an historical building. Good location: 5 minutes walk from the Termini station (metro and train), 10 minutes to piazza Republica, 30 minutes to collosseum. Clean room with airo, tv and fridge. Breakfast in the coffee bar next door (included in your stay) is also a unique experience. It may get noisy in the... More

I've been here in this B&B about one year ago. Everything was nice and clean and there was an extremely sweet hostess named Yasmin who did anything she could for making me and my friend feel home. Not so this time. The owner changed, the man who is there is really scary. It stinks and it's dirty. I came back... More

We have just spent 7 nights here its advertised with airconditioning, there is none, 2 bathrooms between 3 rooms ONLY 1 bathroom, we had NO HOT WATER for 3 days, no compensation or refund was offered for the inconvenience, clean towells only every 3 days, other guests have little consideration when it comes to slamming doors and speaking very loudly.... The place is clean, but very simple. Instrad of air conditioning system they have a very noisy machine with an ugly tube going out to the open window, and as a result you can not close the window. The bathroom is SHARED. It is clean though, with shampoo, shower gel, and there is a hairdryer. One of our towels was... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
