After initially being given the keys to a room which already had guests (and were in bed sleeping as we walked into their room), the twin room we had booked was not available, meaning we had to take the only remaining room left in the entire hotel - a double room. Not ideal for 2 guys.

My wife and I stayed here in May 2013 (not 2014). We were nearing the end of our trip (flying out the next day) and decided to leave our hotel a day early so that we could see the Coliseum. We booked this hotel through Expedia (which did not seem to affect things either way). The hotel was clean enough.... More

The room was comfortable and clean. The major problem is the location. We had a car and used the parking of the hotel. To visit downtown Rome you need to hire a taxi or use the combination bus and metro.

My first hotel stay of my Europe trip. Since we arrived in Mid September, the weather was not cold yet. The air conditioning in the room wasn't cold enough so we have to open up the windows. The elevators were very small. The bed was alright. Managed to get some sleep amidst jetlag. Stayed here for 2 nights & I... More

Booking.com lists this hotel as a four star but it is definitely 0-1 star. We stayed there three days and it was terrible. Free wifi is advertised but unless your in the bathroom or in the hallway you won't get it. We were there in August and no one told us everything closes down because of a national holiday. We... conveniently near the highway and the airport, quite a distance from the center of Rome, quite, suburban location, friendly staff, clean, large rooms, the signs of its better days of its past are there, but the decay is really obvious, you will definetely enjoy your stay here, if your standards are not very high and you are looking for value... I was a bit concerned about the reviews I had seen. The hotel is about 12 kilometres from the centre. We took a taxi for 30 euros from termini. The hotel, is Located on a residential area which seems a safe neighborhood. Yes there is free wireless in the room but works better in common areas. Three is also continental... More

I booked this mainly because it was billed as 4 star and had free wifi. I wouldn't rate it as 4 star as the rooms were tired looking, there were shutters we couldn't open on the windows and there was no wifi in the room. We tried to get help from reception but I don't think they can understand English... More

Staff was really friendly, price was reasonable. Only smell at the coridors was a bit (ok a lot) disturbing. Rooms sizes are average. Furnitures were quite old (your grandparents may have used them :)) Speed of wi-fi was good. Even though the hotel was far from the city center, transport was easy.

I was a little concerned by other reviews, but my experience has been excellent. Friendly staff, efficient check in, room clean and spacious. Food basic but cheap and OK. Haven't had breakfast yet, but it's in the price so great value for money overall. If you're working in EUR, it's hard to fault.
