The staff here were really helpful when trying to book for the vatican, printing off my vouchers and giving great advice. Minutes walk from the vatican and transport links. Main sites were within walking distance so we didn't need to use any transport and with only a few days here in Rome was a perfect location. The rooms are clean... More

Our server Christy made an Otherwise good meal experience fantastic. I highly recommend this establishment and if you do happen to visit make sure you specifically request Christy as a server. I guarantee you your only regret will be not requesting her!

Though this hotel may seem expensive, as far as prices in Rome concern, this is a good budget hotel. The room was clean and confortable. Location is great, just a few blocks from the vatican city and with many stores in its surroundings. The main issue of this hotel, is finding it. The address listed, is not correct. Finding this... - On our last night (August 13 to 14, 2014) at about 11 PM the air conditioning failed and the employee at the night desk on another floor didn't know what to do, and it was very hot in the room. This wasn't likely the first time it happened but he pretended it was. I suggested we cut the power... More

We chose this place recommended to us by friends of ours. The great things about this hotel are: ~ the location and proximity to the Vatican, good shopping, restaurants and markets. Some of our best meals in Rome were right around the corner from this place! ~ Comfortable bed and clean room. Hot shower. ~ VERY helpful and friendly reception... More

My mother and I spent 5 days in Rome last October. We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Floria. This was certainly a no frills hotel - we had two twin beds with a small bit of walking space between them, a desk, small flatscreen TV on the wall, and a compact bathroom with shower. Pros: - Location was good. About... More

This hotel is one of those few that offer only the most basic things for a nice price: you'll have a comfortable bed, a hot shower, a clean room and absolutely no luxuries. A very illustrative example of this happened when I has just checked in. The receptionist asked to let him know if anything went wrong. And I answered:... More

This little hotel was a bit odd to get to, but it added to the experience. We quite liked it. Our room was tiny, and with the double bed and two small singles for my sons, there wasn't much floor not filled with beds. However, compared to the high rates in Rome, the Florida's rates were very reasonable, and we... More

Regular Rome hotel had no vacancies so booked at the nearby Hotel Florida which had decent reviews. Easily our worst hotel stay in Rome ever. Paid in advance for cheaper price. Smell awful in our room. A coating of mold on the bathroom exhaust fan every morning. They refused to move us to another room (hotel over sewage leak) nor... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
